Potential Hazard Hazard Rating (1-

5/low-high)
How can the
potential hazard
be reduced or
avoided?
Responsibility
The risk of fluids
getting on the
camera, as the
camera is going to be
placed in the fridge
for the kitchen
scene.

4
Ensure that no
fluids or foods
are closely
surrounded by
the camera
whilst placing
the camera in
the fridge.
The camera is a very important piece of
equipment whilst filming. If the camera
was to break this means that no filming
will have taken place on that day and a
high amount of cost will be given to the
cast/crew as well as harming the camera
person due to equipment being wet.
Cast/Crew managing
to trip over the
camera equipment,
tripod in particular.

3
Make sure that
all equipment is
fastened safely
by doing a
safety check
before filming
to prevent any
injuries.
The camera and tripod will be used
constantly in all scenes and when it isnt
used it will be left in its position in the
bedroom and bathroom for example,
which could have lead to a bad injury.
Any abandoned
wires and objects
could cause an
individual to trip
over without any
awareness when off
and on scene

4
Guarantee that
no objects
which are not
meant to be on
set are off the
scene to make
sure the cast
and actors
remain safe
All types of additional electrical items e.g
I phone chargers and plugs, may be left
allocated around different areas of our
locations, especially on scene when
filming, which can cause injuries if our
cast isnt careful.
Transporting heavy
equipment to the
environment used to
film the scene
required heavy lifting

Individuals managing
to fall over due to
liquids being on the
floor.

4
The people
carrying the
equipment need
to be the right
size as they
need to have
the right level of
strength with an
accurate
posture to
ensure no one
hurts
themselves
whilst lifting
objects.

It is essential
that the floor
has been wiped
and dried
before any
accidents occur.
The camera is fairly heavy to lift which
we have to carry a number of times from
place to place in order to take hold of the
right shot and angle for our scenes. As
there is a regular rush with timing, some
individuals may carry the equipment in
the wrong way.

It is important that any area of each
room that may be wet, has been dried as
the tripod for instance, could slide and
the camera could drop as well as
individuals falling over themselves.

The change in
weather is very
frequent, and the
importance of
keeping the
equipment safe is
high as it could lead
to leakages inside
the camera/tripod.

2
When
transporting the
equipment from
the school to
the location
used to film, it
involves us
being outside. If
it rains and the
camera is not
covered it could
damage it.

It is required that we keep all equipment
covered in thick material bags which are
waterproof and will stop any rain from
passing through, preventing damages.
