Steps:
Open internet browser
Go to www.edmodo.com
Enter your username and password and click log in
By Groups! click t"e plus sign
Click create
Enter your class #group$ name
Select t"e appropriate grade
Select t"e appropriate sub%ect
Select t"e appropriate class wit"in t"e sub%ect area
Click create
Select t"e range o& your e'pected group si(e
)& you c"oose to do so enter a description o& your class
Click *nis"

to %oin t"e class
)& t"e class locks in ,- days be&ore all t"e students "a.e
%oined t"e class click t"e lock &unction to create a new group code

Go a"ead and open your pre&erred browser and
go to www.edmodo.com.
4 Edmodo website: Enter
username and password
Once you are at t"e Edmodo website enter your
username and password. )& you do not "a.e an
Edmodo account you will need to create one. )t
is &ree to do so and it is a great classroom tool.

Once you "a.e signed in you will be taken to
your personal "omepage. As you can see it
s"ows all o& t"e groups t"at ) am currently a
member o&. ) will now s"ow you "ow to create
your own group or class on your "omepage.
5 Click on the plus sign next
to groups and click create
+e't to groups on your "omepage is a plus
sign. Click on t"is plus sign. Edmodo will t"en
gi.e you t"e option to create or %oin. Today we
are creating a class page so click create.
6 Small box pops up. Enter

name your group section.

Once you "a.e named your class select t"e
appropriate grade and sub%ect area &or your
class.
7 A sub%ect sub8area pops up.
Enter Biology and t"en click
create.
A&ter c"oosing a sub%ect area you will see t"at a
sub8area will pop up. +ow c"oose your
appropriate class wit"in your sub%ect area. As
you can see Anatomy is not a c"oice so ) am
%ust c"oosing Biology as t"e closest sub8area.
Once you "a.e completed t"is step click create.
9 Enter 0,805 &or e'pected
group si(e. T"en click *nis".
+ow Edmodo will ask you to enter an e'pected
group si(e. Click t"e range t"at applies to your
class. Edmodo t"en gi.es you an option to add
a description. T"is step is optional but i& you
&eel t"e need to enter your class description do
so now. Once you "a.e entered your
description click *nis".

Edmodo will now bring you to your group page
w"ere you will *nd your group code. ;our
students will need t"is group code in order to
%oin your class. ;our class will automatically lock
in ,- days. )& adding students to your class

t"e lock &unction to create a new group code so
t"at your students can enter t"e class.
