Almighty Allah, the most Gracious, the most Merciful and the most Beneficent, who
gives me the talent to complete this task successfully, he is the one who gave me
courage to do this.
I am much obliged to my loving parents whose prayers have enabled me to reach this
stage. At this occasion I can't forget my parents for their guidance at the crucial
moments of my life.
I owe my bottomless thanks to our esteemed resource person Mr. Ghulam Jillani Ansari
who directed me well and was always available to clear my doubts and
misunderstandings throughout this project.
It is also a matter of immense pleasure for me to express my gratitude to the factuality
of Department of Information technology of the university of Education for giving us their
precious time and tried their best helpful as possible.
I wish to thanks all my friends and classmates who really helped me by giving
suggestions and critical review of the manuscript.


PROBLEM AREA

The proposed software system will be used to manage the front-desk activities of a
hotel. It will be able to accept reservations, to record information about the hotel guests,
to verify room availability, and to allocate rooms to guests.

EXISTING SYSTEM
The existing system is not providing secure registration and profile management of all
the users properly.
The manual system gives us less security for saving data and some data may be lost
due to mismanagement.
The system is giving only less memory usage for the users.

PROPOSED SYSTEM
The development of this new system contains the following activities, which try to
automate the entire process keeping in the view of database integration approach.

1. This system maintains users personal info, contact and address.
2. This system makes the overall project management much easier and
flexible.
3. Authentication is provided for this application. Only registered users can access.
4. Report generation feature is provided used to generate different kinds of reports.
5. This system is providing more memory for the users to maintain data.
6. This system is providing accessibility control to data with respect to users.



REQUIREMENTS SPECIFICATION DOCUMENT

Processing Environment:
The programming language and development tools are the critical factors in the
functioning of the developed system, so proper attention has to be paid while selecting
these tools. Following are the minimum requirements for installation and making use of
the software package:

Hardware requirements:
Processor: Pentium IV
RAM: 128MB
HARD DISK: 40GB
Printer: Any compatible printer

Software requirements:
C#.Net Framework
Microsoft Visual Studio 2010
Microsoft SQL
Adobe Photoshop
