PURPOSE
The Ministry of National Unity and Community Development was established on 27 October 1990 to encourage the unity of a multiracial society and national integration in Malaysia. The purpose of this assignment is to discuss the approaches and challenges of the government in streghtening the national unity and integration among the major races in Malaysia.
REQUIREMENTS
Since the establishment of the Ministry of National Unity and Community Development in 1990, various programmes have been implemented in streghtening the national unity and integration among the various races. Among them were the Youth programmes, Vision Schools and The National Integrity Plan.
Based on the statement above; i. Explain in detail the aims of the three programmes. ii. Discuss the approaches and challenges faced by the government in achieving unity and integration. iii. Compare the achievements of the three programmes in terms of success and failures in streghtening the national unity and integration among the major races.

TUJUAN
Kementerian Perpaduan Negara dan Pembangunan Masyarakat telah ditubuhkan pada 27 oktober 1990 untuk megeratkan perpaduan dan integrasi nasional antara kaum di Malaysia. Tugsan ini bertujuan untuk membincangkan pendekatan dan cabaran Kerajaan Malaysia dalam memperkukuhkan perpaduan dan integrasi nasioanal
KEPERLUAN Semenjak Malaysia penubuhan Kementerian Perpaduan Negara dan Pembangunan Masyrakat pada 1990, pelbagai program mengeratkan perpaduan dan integrasi nasioanal telah dijalankan. Antaranya ialah Program Belia, Sekolah Wawasan dan Pelan Integrasi Nasional.
Berdasarkan pernyataan di atas: i. Huraikan secara terperinci matlamat ketiga-tiga program tersebut. ii. Bincangkan pendekatan dan cabaran yang dihadapi oleh kerajaan dalam menjayakan perpaduan dan integrasi nasional. iii. Bandingkan pencapaian ketiga-tiga dasar program dari segi kejayaan dan kegagalan dalam mengukuhkan perpaduan dan integrasi nasional.
