Title : A BIOSENSOR BASED ON SILVER ENHANCED SELF- ASSEMBLED RADIO FREQUENCY ANTENNA Stream: Electronics & Communication Engineering
INTRODUCTION This proposed project will introduce a new era in medical field. This will help to identify the disease and will provide a fixed dosage for the disease. Let us consider todays treatment method, if patients of high fever or low fever approach a doctor he will prescribe the medicine with same dosage. While adopting this method we will be able to give the exact dosage for the disease and eliminate. The pathogens by using Self assembled silver enhanced antenna. The importance of modified biosensor is notified here. We show that a silver-enhancement technique can be used to self-assemble a radio-frequency (RF) antenna, which then can be used for designing a radio-frequency identification (RFID)- based biosensor. Using the proposed biosensor, the concentration of target analytes or pathogens can be remotely interrogated in a concealed, packaged, or in a bio-hazardous environment, where direct measurement is considered to be impractical. In the presence of the target analytes or pathogens, a silver-enhancement process self-assembles a chain of micromonopole antennas. As the size of the silver-enhanced particles grow, the chain of microantenna segments bridges together to complete a dipole structure that reflects impinging RF signals at a desired frequency. We validate the proof-of-concept for IgG detection and demonstrate that different concentrations of rabbit IgG (ranging from 20 to 60 ng in this letter) can be detected based on the strength of the reflected RF signal received at a 915-MHz COTS RFID reader OBJECTIVE Targeting principle as its name suggests can target a disease causing cell and can remove it from its roots. Latest innovations are proceeding in the field of targeting a specific cancer cell without even damaging the adjacent cells as in case of chemotherapy. BIO-SENSOR BASED ON SILVER ENHANCED RFID ANTENNA. Using the RFID antenna , Radio Frequency Identification, receives and transmit signals from biosensors can be obtained. The pathogens or analytic can be easily detected and can be used in any environment. In the presence of pathogens the silver enhancement processes a self assembled chain of micro monopole antenna..The chain of micro monopole antenna segment forms a dipole structure to produce the signal of desired frequency. WORKING PRINCIPLE An antenna on insulated structure which will act as a grafting substance, in which a self assembled micro antenna is situated. To gain this a gap is created and is filled with Nitrocellulose (NC) membrane. A complete sandwich structure is formed when a conjugate is added due to the hybridization of antigen-antibody. The unbound elements like aigG-AGNP are washed because of the capillary force of nitrocellulose membrane. The gap on antenna is electrically insulated due to the size of gold- nano particle. The sandwich structure is exposed to proprietary silver enhancement solution during silver enhancement process which contains AgNO 3 and hydroquinone. In the presence of gold nano particles, which act as a catalyst, the silver ion is reduced into metallic silver. Silver ion reduces more as the time increases and bridges the antenna gap. This result in the stronger or equal interrogation signal distance for RFID tag. BEFORE AND AFTER OF SILVER ENHANCEMENT On the surface of the NC membrane only sandwich structure is functionalised before silver enhancement. Due to the porous nitrocellulose, the texture of nitrocellulose membrane is varied. A micro antenna is formed due the deposition of metallic silver on gold nano particles, and is obtained after silver enhancement. CONCLUSION By using biosensor based on silver enhanced self assembled radio frequency antenna we can detect pathogens in real life environment.
