VMware / Windows Specialist

Duties Include:

• Managing the VMware ESX 3.5 and Virtual Centre 2.5, as per HESS
Requirements
• Managing RFS and Change activities with a Team of 4 members as a
Focal Point
• Managing around 180 ESX servers and 1100 Virtual Machines
• Configuring and building ESX Servers, licensing and custom
configuration.
• P2V Migration (VMware P2V converter) and V2P Migration (Plate spin Power
convert) & Implemented V2V conversion using VMware Converter.
• Regular BAU activities such as increasing disk size, adding additional
drives, Cloning, Teaming Networking and Virtual Switches. ( both
Primary and Extended )
• Successfully completed Email Archiving Project in Hess Corporation.
Building up ESX and VM servers for Email Archiving project on all datacenter.
• Snapshot Management.
• Upgraded from VMware ESX server from 3.0.2 to 3.5 in test
