peninsula (Saudi Arabia, Yemen, Oman, United Arab
Emirates, Qatar, Bahrain, Kuwait), and Egypt and
Libya.

Tension occurred between Israel and the Arabs
because of the political, strategic, and economic
interests in the area of great power. So basically
there was conflict because both Israel and Arabs
wanted great power.

during this conflict?

Hussein was captured in Dec. 2003. He was
convicted of crimes against humanity.
