The Royal Canadian Navy
wanted to upgrade the
capabilities of its vessels
fire warning system

Synopsis:
Led a team of 4 to
recommend a selection
of sensors for an fire
and risk monitoring
system
Process involved
setting the scope and
managing risks
A survey of sensors
was completed and
then applied to a
decision matrix
Experiments were
carried out to
determine
performance of
selected surveys
