b. initiated by the mobile stationB
The mobile station initiates the clearing of a call by sending a 9I+)$NN,)T message to the networ8 %see also
subclause 2.1.!..
3pon recei/ing the 9I+)$NN,)T message from the mobile station the networ8 sends a ',5,&+, message to
the mobile station.
3pon recei/ing the ',5,&+, message from the networ8 the mobile station sends a ',5,&+, )$:#5,T, to
the networ8 which if the traffic channel is no longer needed %e.g. last acti/ity on the traffic channel. performs
the channel release procedure as described in subclause 6.-.4.
*hen there exist multiple traffic channels in the :ulticall en/ironment the networ8 does not release %i.e. retains.
a traffic channel e/en if the cleared call was the last acti/ity on the traffic channel under the condition as followsB
- a waiting call exists and the mobile station does not indicates to the networ8 which bearer will be used for
accepting the waiting call yetC and
- there exists no retained bearer for the waiting call.
*hen the mobile station recei/es +,T3# message with +ignaling I, indicating )all *aiting which means
networ8 cannot pro/ide any additional traffic channel thenB
; The :+ shall not re<uest a new +I /alue before releasing any other call %that leads to release any other
bearers than the retained bearer.C
; If the mobile station indicates the different +I /alue from the retained bearer after releasing any other calls
%that leads to release any other bearer than the retained bearer. the networ8 allocates a new T)= for the call
and releases the retained bearer.
)all clearing initiated by the mobile station is shown in figure 6.-2b.
