Using the Quick Selection tool,
select the subjects head and neck.

1. Click Refine Edge.
2. CTRL+J to create a new layer
from the refined selection
Use the quick selection tool or
lasso tool to select the ear.

Go to Edit>Puppet Warp transform.

Create points around the ear
focusing on the outer edge.

Begin forming a point to create an elf-like
shape. Add more points where necessary

Deselect after desired
effect is achieved.
Duplicate the refined head and
neck layer earlier cut from the
background.
Use the Burn tool to emphasize the
eye-bags under the subjects eyes.

Create a new layer. Right-click and
select Create Clipping Mask.
Click the color swatch to bring up the
Color Picker.
Color: #b42322

Increase Brush size to about 44px
with Hardness of 43%
Lower Opacity to 78%
with Flow at 36%

Click the Adjustments panel
and open Color Balance.
Shadows: -48

Highlights: +12

Right-click the Color Balance Adjustments
layer and select Create Clipping Mask.
Create a Hue/Saturations
Adjustments layer.
Hue: +13
Create a clipping mask for
this Adjustments layer.
Group all layers into one group.
Select the Background or Background
copy and use the lasso tool to select the
lips
1. SHIFT+F6 To bring up Feather Selection.

2. Give the selection a radius of 12px.
3. CTRL+J to create a new
layer of the selection.
Move the lips layer to the top,
over every other layer.
Go to Image>Adjustments>
Color Balance
Color Levels:
-47 +16 +9
Go to Image> Adjustments>
Brightness/Contrast
Brightness: -13
Open the Color Picker and
create a new layer.
Color: #468634
Create a new
layer and use
the Paint Bucket
tool to fill it.
Change the mode of the filled layer to
Colour Burn.
On a new layer, select around the eyes
using the lasso or Quick Selection tool.
Open the Color Picker and choose
#bfa8a6.

Use the Paint Bucket tool to fill
the selection.

Create a new layer.
Reduce Brush Size to 2px with Hardness up to 100%
Brush Opacity: 78%
Flow: 61%
Using a black or dark color, create
strokes with the Brush around the
eyes.
Above all layers, go to Exposure
in the Adjustments panel.
Exposure: +0.23
Offset: 0.0131
Gamma Correction: 1.38
Create a Color Balance
layer above every other
layer.
Shadows: +22

Flatten Image
