Therapeutic use/Mechanism in action:

Mediliv offers complete liver care and helps relieve liver disorders, regularizing bile secretion
and lipid metabolism, nourishing the cells and aiding and improving digestion. A proven
medication it treats liver sluggishness, infectious hepatitis, cirrhosis of liver, constipation,
dyspepsia and anorexia.

The alkaloids present in this composition- phyllanthin, phyllanthinine, ecliptine, caryophylline,
glycyrrhizin, eugenol and resins help in restoring liver balance.

Preventing hepatospleenomogaly it also eliminates excessive bile secretion and tones up liver
and kidney functions to aid digestion through improved appetite.

Neutralization of biotoxin such as aflatoxin, hepatitis viruses and environmental carcinogens are
also the part of programmed benefits of administering Mediliv. Regular use of Mediliv as
prescribed helps the enzyme profiles return to normal levels even as it completely detoxifies the
system.

Active Ingredients:

Emblica officinalis : Hepatoprotective
Asparagus racemosus : Antioxidant

Indications : Sluggishness of liver, infectious hepatitis, cirrhosis of liver,
constipation, dyspepsia and anorexia

Dosage and administration:

Adults : 10- 15 ml (two or three times) or as directed by the Physician.
Leafy vegetables and fiber-rich vegetable diet is advised. Oily food
and tamarind based food should be completely avoided.

Pediatric Use : Not for infants and children.

Geriatric Use : As directed by the Physician

Diabetics / pregnant women and nursing mothers/cancer patients:

Should use it strictly as directed by the physician

Precautions:

The Syrup can be administered according to doctors prescription only.
Store the medicine in a cool dry place. Protect from light and excessive heat.
Keep out of reach of children.
The patient is advised to avoid any food that aggravates allergy like yoghurt, butter, milk,
bananas, guavas, and fried foods.
Light food should be taken at night and all sour substances should be almost banned.
Smoking is contraindicated and consumption of liquor should be reduced to the
minimum.
Excessive physical exercise and exposure to cold and damp should be avoided
