1 INTRODUCTION
This Appendix provides a list of current Official Plan Amendment and Rezoning applications received between
January 1, 2008 and December 31, 2012 by City Planning. Applications for parcels the generally fronting on Eglinton
Avenue, or are located within a Focus Area, have been identified for the purposes of the Study.

The information was obtained from the Strategic Initiatives Policy and Analysis Section within City Planning and the
City Planning Application Information Centre:

An Official Plan Amendment application is required when a property owner wishes to use, alter or develop a
property in a way that does not conform with the Official Plan.

A Rezoning application is required when a property owner wishes to use, alter or develop your property in a way
that does not conform with the Zoning By-law. This is done through a Zoning By-law Amendment application
(commonly called a rezoning). Rezonings are used for major revisions to the By-law such as land use changes or
significant increases in permitted building heights and development densities.
