SCENE 11- -4 4(MUSION)
(MUSION)

1. WALK-IN STATE: Theatre auditorium

in darkness. BOY paces stage left,
simply lit. In the foreground (real
prop) TABLE & CHAIR with COMPUTER.
GIRL, stage right, similar set-up.

They move about their respective

environments, oblivious of each other
and the audience.

2. As the show begins, they take

their seats at their computers. The
BOY types on his keyboard, and
as he does so his WORDS appear
magically floating above him.

3. The GIRL replies, and her WORDS

appear in the space above her. The
conversation continues back and forth
in this way.

4!. The BOY steps forward and THROWS

PEARLS (THEATRE/LIGHTING FX) into
the air, prompting the illumination
of the OVERHEAD PEARL SPHERES. Real
table props disappear.

5. The GIRL runs across the stage to

join the BOY (now one environment) and
together they look up to the VISIONS
in the PEARL SPHERES (THEATRE/
PROJECTION FX).

6. The BOY and the GIRL are suddenly

transformed into a MILLION PEARLS
(CINE 3D FX) that swoop and swirl
across the stage before spiralling
upwards...

FLIGHT

1A. Cloud of a million pearls

(PARTICLES/3D) loops and whooshes
across the screen...

1B. ...condensing to form the image

of the GIRL in flight (ANIMATED

2. High angle looking down on GIRL as

she flies above terrain of GREEN
MANGROVE interspersed with sparkling
sunlit water channels.

3. She finds she can control her

flight with adjustments to her
hands/arms. She looks...

sensual green curves of GOLF COURSE.

BOY and the GIRL appear in front of
the flames. Main screen fades to
black.

3. The BOY & GIRL are transformed in

to PEARLS as the FIRE disintigrates
into SPARKS.

4. The SPARKS rise up and fade as the

PEARLS swirl around the now dark
stage.

5. The PEARLS become SMOKE that wafts

and spirals upwards and away,
clearing to reveal...

6!. ...on stage the BOY and the GIRL

are revealed once again, “real” in
the spotlight, ready for the next
show.
