1. On March 4, 2014 at around 9:00 oclock in the evening a killing incident transpired at #02 Malued Dagupan City Pangasinan wherein the victim, Victor T. Soriano married, 62 yrs old, resident of the said place was stabbed by an alleged kitchen knife several times on his body by his son Ramon W. Soriano, 21 yrs old, single, resident of Rivera Dagupan City Pangasinan. The suspect fled away after the said incident. 2. Based on the statement of the neighbour of the victim named Juan T. Dela Cruz, single, 32 yrs old, that at around 8:50 oclock on that evening he heard the victim and the suspect having an argument. The victim was rushed to the Nazareth hospital but the victim was declared dead on arrival. 3. The motive of the incident is undetermined and the case is still under investigation. 4. 1. Reference: Memo from this office (Initial Report) dated March 4, 2014 subject as above. 2. Above reference pertains to the killing incident that transpired at Malued Dagupan City Pangasinan. Base on the statement of Ronald Q. Fernandez, 36 yrs old, married, resident of Malued Dagupan City Pangasinan, that at around 8:54 oclock on the evening of March 4, 2014 he heard a voice screaming. Fernandez immediately went outside of his house to know what happened then he saw Ramon W. Soriano stabbing his father with an alleged kitchen knife and immediately fled away. Therefore PO3 Marvin T. Cruz conducted a follow-up operation that resulted to the arrest of the suspect. The suspect admitted that he killed his father because the victim did not give him a land inheritance on their farm. 3. A case of Parricide is being prepared by this office for filling in court against the suspect. Any development regarding this case will be submitted to that office as soon as obtained. 4. A6: I was on my house 10 meters away when the suspect killed the victim. Q7: What did you do when the suspect killed the victim? A7: I hide at my house when I saw the incident because Im afraid that the suspect might kill me also. Q8: On what manner did the suspect killed the victim? A8: The suspect stabbed the victim several times on his stomach Q9: Do you know the person who killed the victim? A9: Yes Sir. He is Ramon W. Soriano. Q10: With due respect sir, could you please tell me what happened during that night? A10: Yes sir. I was at my house sleeping then I heard a voice screaming, when I went outside of my house to know what happened, I saw Ramon Soriano stabbing the victim, and after he stabbed the victim Ramon Soriano immediately fled away. Q11: Who is Ramon Soriano? A11: He is a resident of Rivera Dagupan City Pangasinan. If im not mistaken he is the son of the victim. Q12: Is there any person who saw the incident? A12: None Sir Q13: Why do you think the suspect killed the victim? A13: As far as I know, they are always having an argument about land inheritance. We found out that the victim did not give the suspect a land inheritance on their farm. Q14: Okay, I am seeing a lead. The investigator has nothing more to ask you at the moment. COMPLAINT The undersigned Chief of Police of Dagupan City Police Station, Dagupan City, Pangasinan, after having duly sworn in oath in accordance with law, hereby accuses Ramon Wanabat y Soriano of the crime of Parricide, defined and penalized under Article 246 of the Revised Penal Code committed as follows:
That on 4 th day of March 2014 at on or about 9:00 oclock in the evening in the Brgy. Malued Dagupan City Pangasinan, the said accused did then and there wilfully, unlawfully, feloniously killed, Victor Torio y Soriano. Ramon Soriano killed his father Victor Soriano by stabbing the victim eight times in the abdomen which resulted in the immediate death of the above named victim, as per attached Autopsy report of Medico-legal Officer. That I am the investigator tasked to conduct the necessary investigation on the explanation of the killing incident that happened in the Dagupan City at Barangay Malued, Dagupan City, Pangasinan to apprehend the person involved in the killing of Mr. Victor Tandoc y Soriano
That on the 4 th day of March 2014 at around 9:00 oclock in the evening, there is a killing incident that transpired at Brgy. Malued, Dagupan City, Pangasinan and the suspect is identified by our witness. The suspect was Mr. Ramon W. Soriano was subject for apprehension pertaining to the crime he committed.
That having confirmed that said Ramon W. Soriano and with the supporting witness and statements gathered by the investigation section, we are executing this affidavit to support our application for the issuance of warrant of arrest of Mr. Ramon W. Soriano for Parricide
