Visual Schedule Cards

A daily visual schedule is an important part of a structured home or school day

for many children. It helps children understand what is expected of them, helps
them transition from one activity to another, and helps lessen anxiety levels.
This e-document offers more than 200 visual schedule cards that cover most
parts of the school day and some at-home activities. The activities, objects, and
sequences are represented by their names. On some of the cards, the words
are paired with simple photographs to help nonreaders understand.

If desired, print the cards on card stock. You may also wish to laminate the cards
before cutting them apart. For easy storage, label a resealable plastic bag with
each category name. Once cut apart, store the cards in the appropriate bags for
future use.
