WHY AME 1UP?
AME 1UP is the product of UP AMEs legacy, that the organization has gone beyond anime and manga and
is ready to broaden its horizons to related fields such as gaming.
1UP is an iconic gaming tern that indicates that the player has gained an extra life in-game and for UP
AME, this just means that the organization is upgrading and stepping up by widening its scope to cater to
gaming enthusiasts as well.

EVENT DESCRIPTION

Staying true to the content of its previous fairs, AME 1UP will be filled with exciting booths from both the
organization and its sponsors. The attractions that can be found in this event are UP AMEs ever-present
fortune telling booth, maid caf, sumo booth, and party game booths, among others.
These booths will be dressed in such a way that they will emulate the theme of this years fair: gaming.
Awaited UP AME contests like the cosplay and fanart competitions will also be present in the program line-
up. There will be a roster of bands performing onstage, and different workshops about anime and the
Japanese culture in general, will be held.
