We are a small Episcopal Parish that has served Port Clinton and

the surrounding area since the late 1800s. Currently, St.

Thomas Episcopal Church has teamed with Peace Lutheran Church to
form a shared ministry serving the town of Port Clinton. The
Shared Ministry has just concluded a search and calling of a new
Minister to serve this shared ministry called ELMS (Episcopal
Lutheran Ministry Sharing). We believe under the leadership of
Father Mike, each individual church will continue to be a vital
cog in the future of Port Clinton.

Service time at St. Thomas is currently Sunday at 11:00 A.M.

Each service is a communion service conducted in the Episcopal
tradition. In the Episcopal Church, all baptized individuals
are welcome at the communion rail. St. Thomas serves wine at
communion. Anyone not wishing to take the wine may so indicate
by crossing their arms over their chest. The Priest will give a
communal blessing in lieu of communion.

Following the service, it is our custom to have fellowship in

the Guild Hall with coffee and light refreshments. Please join
us. Visitors are welcome.

St. Thomas has a Bible Study Group that meets weekly on Tuesday
evenings at 7:00 P.M. in the conference room located adjacent to
the Guild Hall. Sessions usually last an hour and are led by
the Parish Priest. Topics are usually books of the Bible – but
not always. Topics are selected by the study group. Visitors
and guests are welcome to attend.

St. Thomas has a Prayer Group that meets either at the Church on
Tuesday mornings or at the home of one of the members. Since
many of the members go south for the winter, this group meets
from late spring through late fall.

Every Tuesday at 9 A.M. is exercise time. Jane Lazzara leads an

active fun filled hour of stretching and bending and body
exercise. This activity is open to the public (minimal charge).
Sessions are held in the St Thomas Guild Hall, which is entered
from 2nd Street at the side of the Church.

Restrooms are located off the 2nd Street entrance or down ramp at
the front of the Church and turn left at the Guild Hall.

Hearing assistance is available for those who desire it. Please

notify an usher who will be happy to assist. We have two
different types – one operates with ear pieces, the other type
operates with hearing aids and does not require ear pieces.
