SNMP Module

Application Features

•FODII-SNMP monitors and controls each module via

Ethernet. Supports SNMP 2.0.
•FODII-SNMP can return alarm through SNMP Trap.
Meanwhile, it can acquire the data from each module
via SNMP as well, and provide MIB file to user.

•FODII-SNMP can link to PC COM port through Local

Console Port. Uses Hyper Terminal to do monitoring
and IP setting.

•FODII-SNMP or RS-485 module is built-in an

individual ID address when delivery.

FODII-EDFA
Erbium-Doped Fiber Amplifier

The Erbium-Doped Fiber Amplifier（EDFA） is used to amplify

the optical signal with wavelength range from 1530 ~
1560nm. The EDFA utilizes highly stable 980 nm pump laser
and well design to provide excellent performance. All the
parameters of output power, operating current, and operating
temperature are well controlled by the control circuit and
microprocessor to assure the stable operation. Additionally,
the microprocessor monitors the corresponding parameters
and sends the status to network according to SNMP protocol.
When the operating parameters are abnormal,
microprocessor sends alarms and forces to turn off the laser
following the setting threshold to prevent damage at the
abnormal operation.
