ANNEXURE A
I. General Conditions
1. Our offer is based on the construction duration of 22 monthsincluding mobilization.
2. All staff numbers and positions mentioned in the "Organization Chart" are the result of
a preliminary assessment and are not final and not necessarily available from the
commencement of the project but will be progressively assigned to their duties as per
the loaded schedule of works that will be submitted after Contract Award.
Furthermore, the staff members need not be available for the full period. A more
accurate Organization Chart and Staffing Histogram will be provided after contract
award.
3. Our offer is based on and allows for compliance with only those Governmental Laws in
force at the time of the tender. Any changes have to be considered, mutually agreed
and compensated to us accordingly (including any new Taxation, or custom duties etc).
4. Testing & Commissioning shall be completed upon the availability of permanent power,
water etc.
5. We assume that sufficient storage laydown areas shall be made available to us free of
charge at Contract Award in order to ensure timely completion of the works.
6. Our offer includes in the Preliminaries an amount to cover the requirement/services for
the Client/Engineer as stipulated by the tender documents.
7. The Preliminaries include the following costs for Mobilization, Running Costs and
Demobilization: -
1. Salaries and Wages
Salaries of Project/Site Managers, Supervisory and Administrative staff on site.
Wages of Indirect Labour who help in general services e.g. loading/unloading,
cleaning groups, safety labours, chainmen, banksmen, watchmen, office boys, etc.
2. Temporary Site Installation for Contractor and Sub-contractor.
Offices, stores, workshops, storage yard, laboratories, fences, scaffoldings, etc.
Offices and other facilities/services for the Client/Engineer including their running
costs as per the tender requirements.
Labor Accommodation costs are included in the Unit Rates.
Running cost of services for the above, e.g. Water, power, telephone, refreshment,
entertainment, stationary, consumables and its maintenance.
3. Temporary plant and equipment needed to perform the works (does not include
equipment used by the Sub-contractors for the scope of permanent works e.g.
Earthwork, Structural steel, Road work, etc..) and small tools.
4. Labour transport is included in unit rates.
5. Financial and Bank charges including Insurance and Bank Guarantees etc.
6. HSE Requirements and its running costs.
7. QA/QC Requirements and its running costs.

III. Technical
1. Our offer excludes any works related supply erection commissioning of equipments like
Transformers, pumps etc in the substations or pumping station.
2. Please refer attachment 1A for list of manufactures for MEP works.
3. We have considered a warranty of 1 year for MEP equipments in our scope of works
IV. Exclusions (Unless Specifically Measured in the Bill of Quantities or Covered with in the Provisional Sums)
1. Our offer excludes relocation of any existing services.
2. Our offer excludes any provision for crossing existing underground services.
3. Our offer excludes Statutory Fees for Permanent connection (By Client)
4. Our offer excludes Overtime for Consultants Inspectors.
V. PRICE ESCALATION
In view of the unstable conditions in the market our offer is based on the following current supplied at site
rates for the materials listed below have been used for pricing:
