The Many Expressions of Love

One of the things the Bible tells us to do is to completely change our way of thinking and the way we
look at everything based how God wants us to see them.
Romans 12:2
2
Do not be comply to this world, but be transformed by the entire renewal of your
mind [by its new ideals and its new attitude], so that you may prove [for yourselves] what is the
good and acceptable and perfect will of God, even the thing which is good and acceptable and
perfect [in His sight for you].
The reason that the change starts with the mind is because the mind controls the body. What we
feed the mind with, becomes our character.
For a person of the world, if the mind is taught by the 5 senses of the body, he becomes a worldly
person, unable to appreciate the things of the spirit, and he becomes a worldly person, ruled by the
passions of the flesh.
Romans 8:5
5
For they that are after the flesh do mind the things of the flesh; but they that are after
the Spirit the things of the Spirit.
6
For to be carnally (fleshly) minded is death; but to be spiritually
minded is life and peace.
Death here means spiritual death, which is separation from God. When we remain and continue in
sin, our conscience goes dead and our hearts are separated from God and we cannot experience His
presence. This is what the Bible calls death, it is spiritual death. In the garden of Eden, Jesus told
Adam and Eve, On the day that you eat the Forbidden fruit in the middle of the garden, you will die.
This is what He meant. Their conscience went dead and they were separated from God in their
hearts.
Life here means union with God as in Eternal Life.
Our spirits are already spiritual, so once the mind is renewed with the things of the spirit, and sees
things from the spiritual viewpoint, our bodies will also follow, because the body is ruled by the
mind.
Although we are in the world, since Christ paid for us with His blood, we are not supposed to be
identified with the world and not to be a part of this world. When we accept Christ as our personal
Saviour, the Holy Spirit awakened our conscience and our heart, so we became alive to God again.
That is why we felt joy when we became Christians. That means, we see things differently from the
rest of the world, approach things differently and think differently:
Titus 2: 14
14
He gave himself for us in order to rescue us from every kind of lawless behavior, and
cleanse a special people for himself who are eager to do good actions.
Believers in Jesus Christ are simply in the worldphysically presentbut not of it, not part of its
values. See how Jesus prayed for His disciples in the garden of Gethsemane:

John 17:14-16 :
14
I gave your word to them and the world hated them, because they dont belong to
this world, just as I dont belong to this world.
15
Im not asking that you take them out of this world
but that you keep them safe from the evil one.
16
They are not of the world, even as I am not of the
world.

As believers, we should be set apart from the world. This is the meaning of being holy and living a
holy, righteous lifeto be set apart. We are not to engage in the sinful activities the world
promotes, nor are we to retain the shallow and narrow mindedness, and the corrupt mind that the
world creates. Rather, we are to change ourselves, and our minds, to that of Jesus Christ. This is a
daily activity and commitment.

We must also understand that although being in the world, but not of it, is necessary if we are to be
a light to those who are in spiritual darkness. Being in the world also means we can enjoy the
things of the world, such as the beautiful creation God has given us, but we are not to immerse
ourselves in worldly values, nor are we to chase after worldly values.
The people in this world do not know God, and they look for security for themselves and become
selfish. Whereas we who know God, tend to be generous to help others because we trust God to
take care of us.
In fact this world is not our home, our eternal home is in heaven with God. This world is just a school
to learn our lessons for a very short period even if you lived to be 120 years old here, it is very
short compared to eternity. The Bible even refers to us as temporary residents: 1 Peter 2:11
11
Dear
friends, since you are foreigners and temporary residents in the world, Im encouraging you to keep
away from the desires of your corrupt nature. These desires constantly attack you.
Take for example, the approach to Love. The world views love in a very shallow and narrow way.
One reason for this is because the English language and many languages are limited in words, and
they only know the word Love.
Love has many levels. God tells us in the Bible there are a few categories of Love and it is important
that we understand them and express ALL of them so that we can be balanced human beings. The
Bible was written in Hebrew (old testaments) and greek (new testament). The greek words used for
Love in the New Testament are Agape, Philia, Storge and Eros. All 4 types of Love expressions are
important for a person to be balanced.
1) Agape The greek word agape means unselfish, unconditional, sacrificial love. This is the
strongest and highest of all Love. This Love is none other than God Himself. Bible says that
God is Love. When a person expresses agape Love, he is actually showing God through
himself.
This is what Christ spoke about when He said:
Jn 13:34
34
Im giving you a new commandment: Love each other in the same way that I have loved
you.
John 14: 9-13
9
As the Father has loved me, so have I loved you: continue in my love.
10
If you keep my commandments, you will remain in my love; even as I have kept my Father's
commandments, and remain in his love.
11
These things have I spoken unto you, that my joy will remain in you, and that your joy will be full.
12
This is my commandment, That you love one another, just as I have loved you.
13
Greater love has no man than this, that a man lay down his life for his friends.
This is the love that Jesus has for us and sacrificed Himself for us and commanded us to love each
other with this same Love, even to the point of laying down our lives for each other. When we follow
this commandment, we are expressing God to each other.
1 John 3:23 And this is his commandment, That we should believe on the name of his Son Jesus
Christ, and love one another, as he gave us commandment.
1 John 4:7 Beloved, let us love one another: for love is of God; and every one that loves the same
way is born of God, and knows God.
1 John 4:8 He that does not love like God does not know God. Because God is love.
1 John 4:12 No man hath seen God at any time. If we love one another, God dwelleth in us, and his
love is perfected in us.
1 John 4:16 And we have known and believed the love that God has for us. God is love; and he who
continues in this love remains in God, and God is in him.
THIS LOVE COMES FROM GOD AND THIS LOVE IS GOD HIMSELF, and the cultivation of Love for Him
enables us to love others in the same way:
2) Philia Love This is normal love between brothers and friends. Sometimes it lasts,
sometimes it doesnt last. Everybody has them. Not very strong.
3) Storge Love This is love between parents toward their natural children.
4) Eros Love Sexual Love. Meant to be only between husband and wife.
All these 4 forms of love were created by God for humanity. And they are meant to be expressed
in a way that is both pleasing to God and healthy.
1) AGAPE (GOD-KIND OF LOVE)
Gods creations are meant to express love at every level because God created us to love at every
level. If all levels of love is not expressed at all, the individual suffers from serious spiritual and
psychological issues.
When love is expressed in this way, emotions are channelled correctly and the individual is quite
balanced emotionally. I make it a point to hug and kiss my family members and also some of my
friends and relatives it gives emotional stability when expressed correctly and the flow is kept
going.
You will find that as you express love, more love from God will flow into you and through you.
This is His Law the more you give, the more comes to you.
This expression of Gods Love was practiced also by Christ and His followers hugging and kissing as
healthy expressions of love:
Luke 7: 45
45
You didnt give me (Jesus) a kiss. But ever since I came in, she has not stopped kissing
my feet.
Matthew 26:49 Then Judas quickly stepped up to Jesus and said, Hello, Rabbi! and kissed him.
Luke 15:20 So he went at once to his father. While he was still at a distance, his father saw him and
felt sorry for him. He ran to his son, put his arms around him, and kissed him.
Acts 20:37 Everyone cried a lot as they put their arms around Paul and kissed him.
Romans 16:16 Greet each other with a holy kiss. All the churches of Christ greet you.
1 Corinthians 16:20 All the brothers and sisters here greet you. Greet each other with a holy kiss.
2 Corinthians 13:12 Greet one another with a holy kiss. All of Gods holy people greet you.
1 Thessalonians 5:26 Greet all the brothers and sisters with a holy kiss.
1 Peter 5:14 Greet each other with a kiss of love. Peace to all of you who are in Christ.

God is Love and our spirits are created in the s image of God and we share the same nature. Just like
it is in the nature of God to constantly express love, it is also the nature of our hearts to constantly
want to express love. We are all creations of love and love has to be constantly expressed to keep
the channels open. If love is not expressed the love that we all have sometimes gets channelled into
the wrong kind of channels and it becomes a sinful expression instead and people tend to get
involved in the wrong way because of their need for expressing love. The love becomes pent-up
inside like a river that is blocked, and sometimes the water is channelled in the wrong direction. In
the west, where they show love openly among family and friends and loved ones, people are more
emotionally stable.
It is important to open up and express love correctly in the right channels to be balanced
emotionally Love to God, and to each other (family and friends) as Christ commanded that we love
one another as He loves us especially among those who know God as they will have the same mind-
set and a heart given to Christ because it helps stabilise emotions just like the weather in an island
surrounded by sea all around is moderated and does not become too hot.
2) PHILIA LOVE & STORGE LOVE FRIEND AND FAMILY LOVE
Within the family, it is important for parents to express their love to their children hugs, kisses and
say I love you to the kids often it provides emotional and mental stability as well for not only the
children, but the parents as well.
Amongst close friends, it is important to show affection and closeness by warm words of love, and
acts that show kindness and love for each other.
The Law of Supply from God works in such a way that, the more love is given out, the more is
received from God. So parents or family who are unable to love, should start by giving first. As more
is given out, they will receive more from God and the cycle continues.
3) EROS & STORGE LOVE Love for Spouses.
This is usually a combination of Family and sexual love.
It is equally important for husband and wife to express their love to each other give a hug and a
kiss before and after bed, before they go to work or come home and say I love you to each other as
often as possible.
Sex is a VERY IMPORTANT part of any marriage and is a VERY IMPORTANT EXPRESSION of love
between husband and wife. Marriages fail because they do not have a healthy sex life.
Sex is a wonderful gift from God for mankind and sex is meant to be enjoyed in a marriage, between
husband and wife. It is a way of making them bond in love for each other. It ties the souls together
and creates soul-ties between husband and wife and makes them one. It provides emotional and
psychological stability to the persons married to each other.
Matt 19:5,6
5
And God said, Because of this a man should leave his father and mother and be joined
together with his wife, and the two will be one flesh.
[a]

6
So they are no longer two but one flesh.
Therefore, humans must not pull apart what God has put together.
But this gift can become a curse instead of a blessing to the marriage if either party is unfaithful. The
spouse who is unfaithful can become emotionally estranged (feel like a stranger) or alienated (feel
far away) from their partner and the passion in marriage is lost, because their souls become tied to
someone else. There are many ways to make relationship with spouse more interesting. One way is
to open up and actually make the time to actually start talking to the spouse. Spouses who rarely
spend time talking to each other will lose interest and can easily drift apart. Another thing is, to stop
giving excuses not to sleep with the spouse by sleeping with the children all the time. This is a sign of
drifting apart. Lack of sex between couples weakens the union. If a marriage is breaking apart, it is
time to take stock and see where we had gone wrong or what we have not been doing. Sometimes
we have no one to blame but ourselves if the marriage is not going great.
The reason why God created sex and commanded that it be enjoyed only between married couples
is because it creates a strong bond between the two (soul-ties), so they can feel a closeness to each
other. Before marriage was instituted on earth as a law, sex was the only bonding agent between
two individuals like Adam and Eve. That is why Christ said:
Matt 19:5,6
5
And God said, Because of this a man should leave his father and mother and be joined
together with his wife, and the two will be one flesh.
[a]

6
So they are no longer two but one flesh.
Therefore, humans must not pull apart what God has put together.
Later on, when the Ten Commandment was given, it was to strengthen the union with the Law and
taking an oath together to always stick together. Marriage is a covenant relationship it is an
agreement between two individuals before God to remain together.
This Eros Love is fulfilled sexually in the permanent marriage bond as partners express their love to
one another sexually along with the emotions, heart, and mind. It is a total oneness, a pure unity,
and a fulfilling experience, whereas lust is never satisfied. It is a vicious taskmaster, pulling a person
into the experience of just feelings rather than into a loving relationship involving both giving and
receiving. Lust only takes, as much as it can and always leaving a person empty and feeling
compelled to lust again. It is very addictive and consuming, and it is thus a powerful weapon of the
enemy.

The bible says the only time you should stop having sex with your spouse is when either one wants
to fast and pray for a few days and that should be done with mutual consent but after that, they
should resume a healthy sex life again:
1 Cor 7:15
5
Do not refuse each other of your due marital rights (sex), except perhaps by mutual
consent for a time, so that you may devote yourselves unhindered to prayer. But afterwards resume
marital relations (sex), otherwise Satan will tempt you to sin through your lack of restraint of sexual
desire.

The danger in NOT expressing Eros Love consistently and correctly

When the sexual relation with the spouse is avoided for a long time, the parties will be tempted by
the flesh to look elsewhere. This is the danger that the bible warns about.

What happens when a spouse becomes unfaithful? One, the covenant between husband and wife is
broken. Once broken, the heart becomes estranged (becomes like a stranger) to their spouse and
the interest and passion in the marriage becomes dead. Then the person who has committed
adultery will form a soul-tie with the person they slept with and start treating that person like their
husband/wife instead (because of the emotional soul-tie that has been formed). They will give them
special treatment, and serve them and give them more attention and care for them more than their
husband/wife.

Our heart is like a house and has doorways. When we worship God the doorway to the spirit is open
and the good influence from God and His Spirit fills the heart. When we sin in the flesh like adultery,
the ANOTHER doorway of the heart is opened by our flesh and evil spirits drawn by the flesh make
their way into the heart, such as the spirit of lust, greed and etc. Many times, in the case of adultery,
when souls are tied in sexual activity, evil spirits carried by the man easily enter the womans heart
and soul through the doorway opened by the flesh. This only happens when the person has an
experience in sex outside of marriage because your conscience is shut up and doorways to your
heart opened by flesh remains open to evil spirits. This is because there is no protection for the
heart because the conscience is shut up by the person who is sinning. Once the spirit of lust enters,
this spirit constantly fills the mind with sexual thoughts and fantasies. This happens especially when
they sleep with men/women other than their spouse.
One example of Mary Magdalene (also called Mary of Bethany) she was having so many affairs,
multiple spirits entered her through her lusts and Christ had to cast them out of her to free her
completely:
Luke 8:1-3 Soon afterward, Jesus traveled through the cities and villages, preaching and proclaiming
the good news of Gods kingdom. The Twelve were with him,
2
along with some women who had
been healed of evil spirits and sicknesses. Among them were Mary Magdalene (from whom seven
demons had been thrown out),
3
Joanna (the wife of Herods servant Chuza), Susanna, and many
others who provided for them out of their resources.
Once the spirits have entered the person, he/she will constantly keep looking for their lover and
every now and then and this strengthens the soul-ties and as a result the spirits will constantly
arouse adulterous thoughts and feelings in that person making it more difficult to break free.
Matthew 5:27-28 says, You have heard that it was said, YOU SHALL NOT COMMIT ADULTERY; but I
say to you that everyone who looks at a woman/man with lust has already committed adultery in
the heart.
We are asked by God to avoid anything that tempts us to sin and to keep our minds pure:

Run from anything that stimulates lustful desires. Follow anything that makes you want to do right.
Pursue faith and love and peace, and enjoy the companionship of those who call on the Lord with
pure hearts. II Timothy 2:22
Philippian 4:8-9
"Finally, brethren, whatever is true, whatever is honorable, whatever is right, whatever is pure,
whatever is lovely, whatever is of good repute, if there is any excellence and if anything worthy of
praise, let your mind dwell on these things.
The Bible warns about how whoredom (prostitution) and the love of alcohol can take a persons
heart away from God:
Hosea 4:11 Whoredom and wine and new wine take away the heart.
And the person with the spirit of lust in them never has enough but keeps wanting more. This is
when the spirit of lust and whoredom keeps wanting to remain unfaithful. There is no such thing as
one last time just to say goodbye, and then I will definitely stop. That last time never ends.
Because it is attached to the flesh, as long as you are alive, it will want more until it is cast out by
prayer and discipline, such as fasting. Either the person affected has to fast and pray or a believer
fasts and prays on behalf of that victim who has the evil spirit in her/him.
This following verse describes such a woman (represented by an unfaithful believer) who has such a
spirit of lust operating in her, entered within her she becomes uncontrollable. God makes it clear
that by being unfaithful to the spouse, the believer is also being unfaithful to God Himself and He
takes very serious offence against it. God speaks to the believer who has been led astray by the spirit
of lust and whoredom:
Jeremiah 2: 22-24
22
For though you wash yourself with much soap, yet your iniquity and guilt are
still upon you; you (your heart) are spotted, dirty, and stained before Me, says the Lord.
23
How can you say, I am not unclean; I have not been unfaithful? Look at your way in the valley;
know what you have done. You are like a restive young female camel in the uncontrollable brute
passion eagerly running here and there looking for passion and lovers.
24
You have the untamed and reckless nature of a wild donkey used to the desert, in her
uncontrolled desire, sniffing the wind for the scent of a male. In her mating season who can restrain
her? No males wanting her need to even try; in her time they will find her looking for them.
The Bible describes a person who has this evil spirit of lust and whoredom entered into her heart
telling her lovers:
Proverbs 7:18-20
18
Come, lets drink deep of love until morning;
lets savor our lovemaking.
19
For my husband isnt home;
hes gone far away.
20
He took a pouch of money with him;
he wont come home till full moon.
And God was very angry with the unfaithful Gomer, the wife of Hosea (representing the unfaithful
believer) when He said:
Hosea 4:12 For the spirit of harlotry (also called spirit of whoredom or prostitution) has led them
astray and they have played the harlot(prostitute), withdrawing themselves from their God.
The fastest way is the way Christ commanded, that a believer lays hands on the victims and casts it
out in the Name of the Lord Jesus Christ. Every believer with the Holy Spirit has authority over evil
spirits to cast them out. This act is known as Deliverance from evil spirit. To deliver in this context,
means to free a person it is like a person taking a sword and cutting the chains that are tied
around the victim who has the evil spirit.
Mark 16:17
17
And these signs shall follow them that believe; In my name shall they cast out devils;
they shall speak with new tongues;
18
they shall take up serpents; and if they drink any deadly thing,
it shall not hurt them; they shall lay hands on the sick, and they shall recover.
Sometimes the evil spirit has such a strong hold on the persons heart, it cannot be broken or cast
out without much fasting and prayer. This happens when the person involved in sin opened up
his/her heart to the evil spirit for too long and gave to much control to it over a long period of time.
In such cases only much fasting and prayer allows the Holy Spirit to work more in the believer to
help to deliver his/her friend from the spirit.
Mark 9:
28
And when He had gone indoors, His disciples asked Him privately, Why could not we drive
it out?
29
And He replied to them, This kind cannot be driven out by anything but prayer and fasting.

We Can Be Cured with Gods Love

Once a person returns to God in repentance, they should seek to experience Gods love above all
else.

Only love can conquer the spirit of lust. We should ask for a deeper love of God. We should also ask
the Holy Spirit to fill us with more of the love of God. Many people spend hours pleading with God to
break the hold of sin over their lives when they should really be asking Him to fill them with His love.
It is the law of effective displacement light replaces darkness.
If not filled by Gods love and just left empty, 7 worse spirits can come into the person. Jesus said
about the evil spirit that left one person, and the person did not fill her heart with Gods love. Once
evil spirits leave a persons heart, the heart becomes a clean house, - if not filled with Gods Love,
that evil spirit which left the person will return with 7 more evil spirits to fill the persons heart:
Matt 12: 43-45
43
When an unclean spirit leaves a person, it wanders through dry places looking for
a place to rest. But it doesnt find any.
44
Then it says, Ill go back to the house I left. When it
arrives, it finds the place vacant, cleaned up, and decorated.
45
Then it goes and brings with it seven
other spirits more evil than itself. They go in and make their home there. That person is worse off at
the end than at the beginning. This is the way it will be also for this evil generation.
James 4:8 Come close to God, and God will come close to you. Wash your hands, you sinners; purify
your hearts, for your loyalty is divided between God and the world.

Having Agape (God-Love) can create Godly Soul-Ties that Help Us Grow Spiritually
Besides coming closer to God, godly soul-ties would help a person much. Godly soul-ties are created
between godly individuals to love and help each other. This is created by Gods Love and yes, no sex
involved and without breaking any marriage rules, but these are out of Love of God for one another,
as Christ had commanded:
John 13:34-35 I give you a new commandment: Love each other. Just as I have loved you, so you
also must love each other. This is how everyone will know that you are my disciples, when you love
each other.
John 15:
12
This is my commandment, That ye love one another, as I have loved you.
13
Greater love hath no man than this, that a man lay down his life for his friends.

This sort of soul-tie between individuals express the Love of God for each other - they help each
other, pray for each other and give sacrificially to each other things that will help them grow strong
spiritually. This godly soul-tie is created when individuals are united in Gods Love for each other.
And is strong enough to even lay down their lives for each other if they have to. They will be more
considerate of their soul-brother/sister more than themselves. Not many Christians have this agape
(God-Love) love for one another. The most common sort of love found in churches among Christians
who are not close is Philia love (friend/brother-love). But agape love, Gods love is create between
certain individuals whose souls are united with Gods Love for each other this is actually how Christ
loved us. This love builds and supports and brings people closer to God, it does not destroy the soul
or spirit. This love is stronger than even eros (sexual love).
Some examples are King David and Jonathan, who had a friendship closer than brothers and loved
each other and helped each other. 1 Samuel 18:1 As soon as David had finished talking with Saul,
Jonathans soul became knit with Davids soul, and Jonathan cared and loved David as much as he
cared about himself.
Another example is Ruth and Naomi: Ruth 1: 16
16
But Ruth replied (to Naomi), Dont urge me to
abandon you, to turn back from following after you. Wherever you go, I will go; and wherever you
stay, I will stay. Your people will be my people, and your God will be my God.
And of course, Mary of Bethany (or Magdalene) to Jesus, because after He saved her from her sins,
and a life of sin and she never left His side. Even when He was being crucified, she stood at the foot
of the cross and embalmed His body when He died and was there at the tomb after He rose from the
dead. In fact, she was the first person He appeared to when He resurrected from the dead:
John 20: 11-16
11
Mary stood outside near the tomb, crying. As she cried, she bent down to look into
the tomb.
12
She saw two angels dressed in white, seated where the body of Jesus had been, one at
the head and one at the foot.
13
The angels asked her, Woman, why are you crying?
She replied, They have taken away my Lord, and I dont know where theyve put him.
14
As soon as
she had said this, she turned around and saw Jesus standing there, but she didnt know it was Jesus.
15
Jesus said to her, Woman, why are you crying? Who are you looking for?
Thinking he was the gardener, she replied, Sir, if you have carried him away, tell me where you
have put him and I will get him.
16
Jesus said to her, Mary.
She turned and said to him in Aramaic, Rabbouni (which means Teacher).

Mark 16:9
9
Now when Jesus was risen early the first day of the week, he appeared first to Mary
Magdalene, out of whom he had cast seven devils.
Finding and expression of Love for God and expression of Gods-Love for others is the key to filling
our hearts with the right Love.
How do we achieve this Agape-Love to replace the wrong kind of Love in us?
See here in the reading of God At Eventide, Jesus says:
Reading 29
th
July, God At Eventide, (See what Jesus says): See The Lovable
Do not try to force yourself to love others. Come to Me. Learn to love Me more and more, to know
Me more, and little by little you will see your fellow man as I see him. Then you, too, will love him.
Not only with the Love of Me, which makes you desire to serve (means help) him, but you will see
the lovable in him, and love that.

Comment: As we continue in communion with God, we grow in that relationship because HE cuts
away all of the thoughts, desires and attitudes that are unlike HIS. This cutting away (pruning) may
last for our entire lifetime here on Earth. This pruning causes us to become more and more like
HIM. He loves ALL of His children, and we too must pass the love that HE gives to us on. God is Love!!

There is always Hope for Those Who Change

Whatever the case, there is ALWAYS forgiveness and hope for the person who turns to Christ and His
Love when repents and take steps to change from their heart and change their ways:

2 Chronicles 7:14 - If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray,
and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive
their sin, and will heal them.

This speaks of Gods cleansing power:

Isaiah 18:1
18
Come now, and lets settle this,
says the LORD.
Though your sins are like scarlet,
they will be white as snow.
If they are red as crimson,
they will become like wool.

1 John 1:9 - If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us [our] sins, and to cleanse us
from all unrighteousness.

We are given a new life:

2 Corinthians 5:17 Anyone who belongs to Christ is a new person. The past is forgotten, and
everything is new.

Finally, as we draw closer to God, He will also draw closer to us and reveal Himself to us:

James 4:8-10 - Draw nigh to God, and he will draw nigh to you.
You take one step to God and He will take many steps to you.

Is 55: 6 Seek the LORD when he can still be found; call him while he is yet near.

A Word of Warning
But also remember, whenever we take steps to draw closer to God, the enemy, the devil will also try
to distract us and draw us away from God with equal strength and temptations in our weakest
moments to destroy us. We must be very careful and be aware of the devils strategies he will
come like a wolf in sheeps clothing nice guy outside, but devil inside to draw us away from God
into sin so we can be destroyed. The devil knows our weaknesses (what our heart holds as great
value and what we like deep inside) and usually knows how to get us at the our weakest spot. and
has a special eye on those that God wants to use in future for His glory.

1 Peter 5:8
Be clearheaded. Keep alert. Your accuser, the devil, is on the prowl like a roaring lion, seeking
someone to devour.

2 Cor 11:14, 15 Even Satan disguises himself as an angel of light.
15
It is no great surprise then that his
servants also disguise themselves as servants of righteousness. Their end will be what their actions
deserve.
John 10:10
10
The thief (the devil) enters (our heart) only to steal, kill, and destroy. I (Jesus) came so
that they could have lifeindeed, so that they could live life to the fullest.

LIVING A LIFE THAT IS PLEASING TO GOD AND GLORIFIES HIM THROUGH OUR LIFE

We are all always learning and make mistakes, but we should always pick ourselves up and move on
with life to reach the perfection that God has in mind for us.

We are told to live (sacrifice) our lives for God because He gave Himself to save us. We are not able
to die for Him, but we are told to die to our own desires and live for Him and make our lives a daily
sacrifice for Him by the way we live:

Romans 12:1
I appeal to you therefore, brethren, in view of [all] the mercies of God, to make a decisive dedication
of your bodies as a living sacrifice, holy (devoted, consecrated) and well pleasing to God, which is
your reasonable service and spiritual worship.

Galatians 2:19-21
I have been nailed to the cross with Christ.
20
I have died, but Christ lives in me. And I now live by
faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave his life for me.

The Word of God praises those who are virtuous and bring Him glory by their lifestyle, they are
praised not only by God but by all men.

Take for example, Gods word describes the ideal wife who deserved to be praised, admired and
spoken well of by all men: (Prov 31:9-31)
10
A truly good wife
is the most precious treasure
a man can find!
11
Her husband depends on her,
and she never
lets him down.
12
She is good to him
every day of her life,
13
and with her own hands
she gladly makes clothes.
14
She is like a sailing ship
that brings food
from across the sea.
15
She gets up before daylight
to prepare food
for her family
and for her servants.
[a]

16
She knows how to buy land
and how to plant a vineyard,
17
and she always works hard.
18
She knows when to buy or sell,
and she stays busy
until late at night.
19
She spins her own cloth,
20
and she helps the poor
and the needy.
21
Her family has warm clothing,
and so she doesnt worry
when it snows.
22
She does her own sewing,
and everything she wears
is beautiful.
23
Her husband is a well-known
and respected leader
in the city.
24
She makes clothes to sell
to the shop owners.
25
She is strong and graceful,
[b]

as well as cheerful
about the future.
26
Her words are sensible,
and her advice
is thoughtful.
27
She takes good care
of her family
and is never lazy.
28
Her children praise her,
and with great pride
her husband says,
29
There are many good women,
but you are the best!
30
Charm can be deceiving,
and beauty fades away,
but a woman
who honors the LORD
deserves to be praised.
31
Show her respect
praise her in public
for what she has done.
Prayer and Declaration Guide to Break Unholy Soul Ties

Unholy soul-ties make a person vulnerable to sin and evil influences.
This will help anyone who is struggling with bad soul-ties that have been created wrongly.
This is a prayer and declaration to break wrong soul-ties it is recommended that they be
prayed 3 times a day for 10 days.
It should be prayed, slowly, line by line and pray with the heart (not the mind).
I always emphasise praying from the heart and not just moving the lips because Jesus
complained about certain type of people in the Bible who do just that:
Matthew 15:8 This people come near to with their mouth, and honour me with their lips; but their
heart is far from me.
(When I pray from the heart, I find it helps when I place one hand over the heart as I pray,
and I pause between each line for a few seconds to let what I say sink in. But it is up to the
individual)

What we PRAY IN FAITH WILL HAPPEN and what we SPEAK IN FAITH WILL HAPPEN:

22
Jesus responded to them, Have faith in God!
23
I assure you that whoever says to this mountain,
Be lifted up and thrown into the seaand doesnt waver but believes that what is said will really
happenit will happen.
24
Therefore I say to you, whatever you pray and ask for, believe that you
will receive it, and it will be so for you.
(Mark 10:22,23)

1) PRAY AND BELIEVE IN FAITH AND IT WILL HAPPEN

My Father God, I come to you in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ.
I come to you with my whole heart as your son/daughter.
I thank you for the blood of Christ that cleanses frees me from all sin.
I pray that you forgive me and cleanse me from all my sins. (confess sins that have not yet
been confessed one by one).
I give you my whole heart, my whole life and my relationships.
I pray that you will cut away from me, every sinful relationships, soul-ties and feelings.
I pray that the blood of Christ wash me and cleanse me of all my sins.
I pray that the blood of Christ to cover me all day long.
I pray that Your Holy Spirit cleanse my heart and fill me with your Love, Joy and Peace.
In the Name of the Lord Jesus Christ, I pray and thank You, Amen.

2) SPEAK AND BELIEVE IN FAITH AND IT WILL HAPPEN

(Now make a declaration to free yourself speak it firmly and speak it strongly in faith)

Now, in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ, I break off every hold of soul-ties and evil spirits
in my life that has come as a result of unhealthy relationships.
Satan, I reject you and your demons and command you to depart from my spirit, soul and
body, In the Name of the Lord Jesus Christ!

I REPEAT - What we PRAY IN FAITH WILL HAPPEN and what we SPEAK IN FAITH WILL HAPPEN:

When we pray in faith, believe that it will happen and declare in faith, believing that it will happen.
Do not doubt Gods ability to fulfil His word, especially since He has promised in His Word and it is
according to His Will:

1 John 15: 14-15
14
This is the confidence that we have in our relationship with God: If we ask
for anything in agreement with his will, he listens to us.
15
If we know that he listens to
whatever we ask, we know that we have received what we asked from him.

Numbers 23: 19
19
God isnt a man that he would lie,
or a human being that he would change his mind.
Has he ever spoken and not done it,
or promised and not fulfilled it?

This prayer is in agreement to His will, and the person who prays will without a doubt received the
answers to their prayer if he/she prays from the heart.
