category on the temple or on the label. The symbols of the transmission lter
category are also on the label.
The basic function of sunglasses is
protection of the eyes from the effects of
direct sunlight and UV rays. Solar UV
rays with a wavelength of less than 400
nm are very harmful to the eyesight and
the sub blocking lenses must not allow
transmission of this area of the spectrum.
