Registration Fees
Conference Fee : Rs.350 per person.
The fee covers Lunch, Conference Kit and Certificate.
A concession of 10% on the fee is applicable for three or more
participants from the same college.
Payment is to be made in advance by Demand Draft, favouring
Presidency College and payable at Bangalore.
Eligibility
The conference is open to all students pursuing post-
graduation (MBA or equivalent) in any stream.

Presidency College
The Presidency Group of Institutions is a well established network
of 7 schools, a PU college and a full-fledged college of UG & PG
courses. The objective of these institutions is to provide a high
quality learning environment that fosters good education for the
future of the country. Presidency College, Bangalore, established
in 2000 as a premier institute of the group, offers a plethora of
courses in the fields of Management, Bio-technology, Computers
and Commerce. Its campus sprawls over 1,10,000 square feet of
built-up space with more than 2000 students studying there. The
college is equipped with state-of-the-art labs, wi-fi internet
connectivity and spacious classrooms for each course of study
offered on campus. The college-library operations are digitalized
with more than 23,000 books, backed by databases such as EBSCO
and N-List, besides some open-source ones. The library also
subscribes to select international journals & magazines, including
the Harvard Business Review. Faculty members for the College are
selected through a three-stage screening process to ensure their
effectiveness. Presidency College has been accredited with an A
grade by the National Assessment and Accreditation Council
(NAAC).
Centre for Management Studies
The Centre for Management Studies (CMS) is the flagship brand of
Presidency College, Bangalore. Established in 2002, the Centre
continues to attract good faculty talent and students from across
the country. The students for our MBA program are selected
through the State-level management aptitude test (KMAT) and/or
the national MAT/CMAT scores. The Centre believes in and aims

at imparting an MBA-with-a-difference. We were ranked 36
among the top private management institutions in the country
during 2011-12. Our faculty mix comprises full-time members,
adjunct members, visiting faculty and guest faculty. Five of the
full-timers are PhDs and there are a few ICWAs and a couple of CSs
on our faculty. The members of the CMS faculty have a blend of
industrial and teaching experience, ranging from 4 to 41 years,
with a composite average experience of 22 + years.
Besides running an in-house magazine by the name of Prez-Beat,
the Centre for Management Studies publishes a peer-reviewed
biannual journal called Presidency Journal of Management
Thought & Research (PJMTR), which has gained acceptance in the

Procedure for Submission of Papers
1. The paper should be original and should not have been
presented anywhere.
2. The complete paper, including its bibliography, should not
exceed 7 A4-size pages. It should be typed in MS-Word
format with the Times New Roman font size 12, a spacing
of 1.5 and a margin of 2.5cm on all four sides of the page.
3. The cover page should contain the Title of the paper,
Author's Name, Complete Postal Address, mobile number
and email ID.
4. The full paper should be submitted as a soft copy (only
through email) & a hard copy while sending the
registration fee.

The Conference
Marketing teams are faced with multiple challenges in trying to
grow their brands in the Age of Now. The art of the deal is
rapidly being replaced with the art of adding value. The field of
marketing is more complex today than it has ever been. Markets
are saturated, competition is fierce and consumers are over-
stimulated by the media. In this cut-throat and ever evolving
industry, it is absolutely crucial not to fall behind. The way to
overcome the challenges of marketing in the age of now is to
constantly be on the lookout for ways to improve skills, nurture
creativity and foster innovation.
This Conference offers to the PG students of today, the inheritors
of our tomorrow, an open forum and invites them to give vent to
their creativity on a chosen theme and open up avenues for
innovation and skill enhancement to adequately meet the
challenges of Marketing in the Age of Now!

Students are invited to submit conceptual or empirical research
