1.3 DEFINITIONS For seagoing ship, annual surveys are to be conducted for the hull and the machinery, including the electrical plant, and where applicable, for special equipment classed, at intervals of 12 months, as from the date of commencement of the class period indicated in the certificate 1.4 ABBAREVIATIONS AIS Automatic Identification System VDR Voyage Data Recorder
