El Marketing de Contenidos por
definicin, consiste en la creacin y
distribucin de contenido de valor para
nuestros clientes y prospectos, que los
atraiga hacia nuestro negocio o
empresa y nos permita conectar ms
fcil y directamente con ellos.
Con el marketing de contenidos se
debe indagar en las necesidades de
nuestra clientela, para ofrecerles
nuestras soluciones de la forma ms
conveniente y eficaz posible.
Si lo que ofrecemos tiene la
suficiente relevancia, estaremos
haciendo marketing de contenidos. No
debemos confundirlo con la difusin de
contenido promocional, que busca atraer
al cliente por otros caminos. Buscamos
ofrecer contenidos que atraigan al
cliente, pero que lo animen a
comprometerse con nuestro negocio y le
inviten a participar.
Actualmente, el volumen de
informacin existente en la red es
prcticamente inabarcable. Por eso
Google intenta facilitarnos la bsqueda
a travs de ciertas normas o filtros
conocidos como SEO (Search Engine
Optimization). Sin embargo, el SEO es un
mundo en constante evolucin y
conocerlo a fondo requiere un estudio
exhaustivo y muchas veces, lo que hoy
funciona, maana deja de hacerlo.
Por eso, una de las armas que los
emprendedores online tenemos a
nuestra disposicin es precisamente el
Marketing de Contenidos, la creacin de
contenidos de calidad dirigidos a nuestro
pblico objetivo.
A la hora de elaborar nuestro

genere un valor aadido. Y para empezar
a hacerlo, debemos empezar por elegir

ttulo va a ser "el gancho" que
inicialmente capte a nuestro interlocutor
y nos invite a continuar con la lectura,
visionado o escucha del resto.

Lo siguiente a la hora de conquistar a

dirigimos, qu busca, cules son sus
metas, sus sueos. Por supuesto, no es

aprenderemos mediante el mtodo de
ensayo y error, pero poco a poco
generaremos mejores contenidos y
captaremos mayor inters.

Algunas tcnicas de lograr un
marketing de contenidos eficaz pueden
ser:

calidad y original.
Por supuesto, siempre ser la mejor
forma de hacer un buen marketing de
contenidos. Investigar, estudiar, leer,
aprender a diario, te permitirn formarte
y convertirte poco a poco en un experto
en tu campo.
Es entonces cuando te podrs
permitir crear contenidos sin tener que
acudir a fuentes ajenas o externas. Si
aportas informacin relevante y
completamente nueva, ganas muchos
enteros frente a tu audiencia.
Mustrate como un conocedor a
fondo de tu materia, resuelve dudas a tu
pblico, ofrece soluciones y logrars que
depositen su confianza en ti.

cause impacto y llame la atencin.

otro modo de atraer pblico. El pensar

contar historias emotivas, es importante
mantener el inters desde el comienzo y
sin bajar la tensin narrativa de la

En definitiva, el buscar la calidad y los
contenidos de inters, nos van a ayudar
a ganar un valor aadido de cara a
nuestra audiencia, de manera que
generemos una mayor confianza que los
atraiga a nosotros y nuestro negocio.

2011. Para mi, es una luchadora y
por ende una ganadora. Una chica
hermossima, positiva, modesta, con

constructivos. A la misma vez, como
buena caribea, no deja que nadie le
arruine su fiesta.
Recientemente tuve la oportunidad de
conocer a Yahaira en la apertura de
Lollipop Boutique, su pintoresca tienda
en el corazn de Washington Heights.
Lo primero que me llam la atencin
fue su sonrisa dulce, delicada y muy
rosada, la cual llevaba en combinacin
con un lindo vestido blanco de flores de
igual color. Lo prximo fue su peso.
Recordaba una chica muy delgada que
haba visto en NBL y ahora tena frente a
mi a una mujer de peso normal con un
pelo largo y ondulado y un je ne sais quoi
en su rostro. En fin, una linda mujer que
destellaba felicidad. Y por qu no estar
feliz? Despus de meses de
construccin, renovacin y mucho
trabajo, Yahaira celebraba finalmente la
muy esperada inauguracin de Lollipop
Boutique, su pintoresca tienda en el
corazn de Washington Heights, Nueva
York.
Luego de charlar un poco con cada
uno de los invitados nos habl de su
visin y la razn por la cual cre este
tipo de boutique y no otra. Su misin es
no solo ofrecer coloridas prendas de
vestir, las cuales escoge personalmente
con el mayor cuidado y gusto, si no que
la tienda ofrezca una experiencia

divertida y personalizada a un muy buen
precio. Nada excede $150 y solo carga
un par de piezas de cada modelo para
evitar que las clientas sufran ese
momento penoso de ir a una fiesta y
encuentren a alguien con el mismo
vestido.
El momento sorpresa fue el saber que
haba preparado la sangra que
disfrutamos en el evento. Les digo, una
gran emprendedora que se ocupa de
cada detalle de su negocio. Desde
escoger los accesorios hasta pintar y
decorar su propio bao, cada detalle de
esta boutique es como salido de un
sueo muy dulce.
Nacida en la Repblica Dominicana,
Yahaira Nez lleg a la Gran Manzana
en el ao 2006 en busca de un futuro
mejor. En el 2011 fue elegida entre miles
de chicas para participar en el reality de
Univisin, Nuestra Belleza Latina. Esta
experiencia la ayud a aprender mucho
en el campo de produccin de televisin.
Fue reportera de entretenimiento para el
programa "De Extremo a Extremo" y
locutora en el show radial El Arca
Musical por La Rumba 95.3 FM. Realiz
muchos trabajos como modelo, entre
ellos vale destacar que fue la seductora
modelo protagonista en el video musical

A question that I often get from
friends, clients and colleagues is: "How
can I increase views in my site/blog?"
From my years doing web training for
publishers in Hispanic Digital Network
and my experience as a Product
Marketing Manager at The Huffington
Post, I've compiled some useful tips
that will help you increase views to
your blog or website. Below I list 9 of
my top tips you can start applying
today:
Tip #1:
Quality Content
Write based on a personal
experience, feedback/questions from
your audience and info about your
audience/market that is useful or
insightful. First-person posts generally
work better and content must either
entertain or inform. Aim to add positive
emotions to your posts, like humor,
inspiration, amusement and
intelligence. People love stories.
Remember: is not about you, is about
them.
Tip #2:
Searchable
Headlines
If talking about a person, place or
company, include the full name in the
post so when people search them,
your article has a better chance to
appear. "Lists" and "how-to's" are very
effective, hence my headline :) Also
think headline length so readers and
you can easily share in Twitter. Sticking
to an 80 character limit is a good rule
of thumb for the 140-character-limit
Twitter, so content and URL can also
fit.

Tip #3:
Shareable
Headlines
The same searchable headline
wont necessarily work for Facebook or
Twitter. Create these in a shorter, more
casual tone, providing readers a WHY
they should click or share it (an action).
Give a teaser so they want to click it to
know more. Questions generally work
well and 10-word headlines are a good
rule-of-thumb to follow. Also, if your
story is timely, make sure you include
words like TODAY, NOW, NEW,
TOMORROW in your headline, as
people are more prone to share these.
Tip #4:
Smart Tags
Think how people will search for
this type of content in order to land in
yours. Put yourself in their shoes.
Include all possible combinations of
search items. Consider even common
misspelled words, like "tattoo" and
other languages that readers will
search on but can still read your
English article (very useful for Latino
marketing where your target may be
bilingual). Add these as well. The story
should also include the chosen tags as
many times as possible.
Tip #5:
Add Link Outs
Help readers go deeper into your
topic by including links with relevant
content WITHIN your website. If they
are interested in knowing more about a
theme, news article or word you
hyperlinked, they will click on it,
providing you with more page views
and more time spent in your site. Don't

be afraid of also adding link outs to
external sources, as these will add
credibility and added SEO to your
content. Make sure these are relevant
to your content and come from a well-
respected source.
Tip #6:
Be Consistent
Frequency is important as search
engines will crawl your site more if
content is updated often. Posting one
story per day for 10 days is much more
efficient than posting 10 stories in one
day. Stick with a frequency that's
manageable for you. Many blogs do
very well with posting a really quality,
SEO-friendly story per week, and is
smartly shared in social networks.
Timing is also important.
Tip #7:
Add Multimedia
Search engines are now "universal,"
meaning they show text alongside
photos, tweets and videos. Adding
relevant photos and videos to your
story will not only add more
engagement (according to
McKinsey.com, quality visualizations
are 30x more likely to be shared than
only text), but search engines will see it
as more relevant. Make sure your
multimedia file names and captions
are also search-friendly so they can
also appear in the image/video
searches on their own. You can also
make your beautiful photos easy to
share in Pinterest by using the J Query
Pin it plug-in. Infographics are a great
way to include information in a visual
way. Use free services like Visua.ly and
Visualize.me to create yours. Make
sure your story includes [PHOTOS]
[INFOGRAPHIC] and/or [VIDEO] within
your headline to alert readers of
inclusion to make them more clickable.
Tip #8:
Distribute,
Distribute
Every story should be posted in your
Facebook profile or page, Twitter and
even Pinterest and Instagram (using
your story picture). You can make this
task automated so every post is
posted in all your social platforms at
once by using free services like Dlvr.it
or Twitterfeed. Also share posts
multiple times as feeds move fast and
people are not always engaged, so its
easy to miss your content. You can

schedule these ahead of time in
Facebook pages and using services
like Hootsuite or SocialOomph. Go a
step further and pay for promoted
posts in Facebook. You can share in
Linked Groups by using Oktopost, but
is better to add context to post rather
than just sharing a link. Help your
readers also distribute for you by
adding social tools in every article for
easy sharing. Go a step further and
include Tweet-able phrases (with a
Twitter link) within your post for easy-
sharing on the spot by using
ClickToTweet.
Tip #9:
Think Mobile
Most content is now consumed in
mobile devices, so consider how your
story will be read in one. First is to
make sure your site or blog is mobile-
friendly. Second, create stories that are
more concise (500-600 words is ideal),
as people have a shorter attention
span. If a story needs to be longer, add
impacting quotes that appear later in
the story, so readers get a preview of
what's coming ahead. Also, picture lists
work better than photo galleries as
readers don't want to need to hit that
"next" bottom 10x from their device
and they are more prone to share the
story.

Once your baby
comes into the
world he needs to
communicate
with his mother,
father and
significant others.
Parents and
caretakers must
be aware of the
early signs of
speech and
language from the moment they are born.
Babies communicate with their
caretakers and their environment doing
the following:
1 month old: Responds to the
human voice. Calms down when he hears
a familiar or friendly voice. Smiles when
he sees his parents or hears their voice.
Cries when he wants to be attended to.
Vocalizes and listens.
2 months old: Distinguishes
different speech sounds. Gurgles and
produces guttural and pleasure sounds.
3 months old: Turns head when he
hears a voice. Responds verbally to
others speech. Produces vocal sounds,
humming and simple syllables. Begins to
discriminate distinctive emotional
features of the voice. Begins to have eye
contact accompanied with voice.
Incorporates the /g/ sound.
4 months old: Babbling becomes
more frequent and begins to incorporate
consonants like /p/, /b/ and /m/. His tone
intensity begins to vary. Begins to imitate
vowel sounds. Smiles to people that
speak to him. Vocalizes while maintaining
eye contact. Use sounds such as /p/, /
b/, /m/.

5 months old: Vocalizes while he
plays with his toys. Can differentiate
between friendly and angry voices.
Experiment with verbal sounds like ga,
ga, ga. May begin to respond to his
name. Smiles and vocalizes when he
sees his image on the mirror. Uses vowel
sounds similar to /o/ and /u/. Follows
mothers eyesight to observe different
objects. Moves head towards the source
of the sound.
6 months old: Modifies his volume,
tone and voice. Vocalizes sounds of
pleasure and disgust. Understands the
meaning of no. May apparently
recognize words like, mommy, daddy
and goodbye. Babbles and imitates his
own sounds. Begins to imitate
environmental noises.

7 months old: Plays vocally doing
vowel sounds. Listens to vocalizations of
others. Recognizes tones and different
inflexions. Produces many sounds in one
exhalation. Verbalizes with the intention
of wanting to be fed. Begins to babble in

two or more different sounds.)
8 months old: Recognizes some
words. Repeats syllables that are
pronounced with lots of emphasis.
Imitates gestures and the tone of speech
of adults. Echolalia (repetitions) can be
observed. Verbalizes accompanied with a
functional and social gesture (yes, by
nodding head; goodbye, by waving hand).
Babble and laughs.
9 months old: Produces different
modulation patterns in speech tone.
Imitates sounds of his language and
screams. Uses gibberish and language
gestures (moving head saying no).
Responds to his name and to no. Pays
attention to conversation around him.
Likes to play routine games like patty
cake peek-a-boo and itsy bitsy
spider.
10 months old: Imitates adult
speech sounds of his first language.
Uses intonations. Imitates environmental
sounds. Says with meaning and intention
mommy, papa, tata, dada.
Responds with gestures. Begins to
imitate sounds of his sorroundings.
11 months old: Knows how to
modulate his voice, imitates different
tones and facial expressions. Begins to
express himself accompanied by
gesture. At least says one word in his
expressive vocabulary.
12 months old:: Recognizes his
own name. Follows simple instructions.
Says one or more words. Practices
constantly with the word he knows and
combines it with gibberish. Understands
the meaning of no by the intonation
given. Indicates with his index finger the
object he desires. Imitates new sounds.
Begins to follow one step instructions.
While your baby is developing and
growing is essential that parents and
caretakers communicate constantly with
the infant. During his routine explain to
him in simple words what you are doing.
Describe his environment, what he is
seeing and who is talking to him. That
helps stimulate early sounds and even
develop his own vocal games. Who to be
a better model of love, nuture and early
communication than the parents and
caretakers.

buen ejemplo de ello es Alejandra
Espinoza.
Despus de ganar la primera
temporada de Nuestra Belleza Latina
transmitida por la cadena Univisin en
2007, por el que obtuvo un contrato por
un ao con dicha cadena televisiva, esta
mexicana de 26 aos nacida en Tijuana,
no ha parado. Desde entonces ha sido
presentadora de Premios Juventud,
