DECATUR The Task Force on DeKalb County Operations (the Operations Task
Force) has scheduled its first meeting on June 5, 2014 from 6 8 p.m. at the Maloof

#as created by DeKalb $nterim C%O &ee May #ith the support of the DeKalb County
'oard of Commissioners through an %(ecuti)e Order in March *+,-"
The ,./member committee is empo#ered to e(plore and study (,)the financial!
business! 0oning and 1uality of life impact on residents and go)ernment operations
caused by the creation of ne# cities and anne(ations2 (*) the effecti)eness of the
current go)ernance structure of DeKalb County and ethics and transparency in County
operations2 (3) the e1uitable distribution of 4omestead Option 5ales Ta( (4O5T)
proceeds and legacy pension costs bet#een the DeKalb County and it6s cities2 and (-)
