From the Epistle of Apostle
Paul to Ephesians (2:14-22).
Brethren, Jesus Christ is our
peace, who has made both one,
and has broken down the middle
wall of separation, having abol-
ished in His flesh the enmity, that
is, the law of commandments con-
tained in ordinances, so as to cre-
ate in Himself one new man from
the two, thus making peace, and
that He might reconcile them both
to God in one body through the
cross, thereby putting to death the
enmity. And He came and
preached peace to you who were
afar off and to those who were
near. For through Him we both
have access by one Spirit to the
Father. Now, therefore, you are
no longer strangers and foreign-
ers, but fellow citizens with the
saints and members of the house-
hold of God, having been built on
the foundation of the apostles and
prophets, Jesus Christ Himself
being the chief cornerstone, in
whom the whole building, being
fitted together, grows into a holy
temple in the Lord, in whomyou
also are being built together for a
dwelling place of God in the
Spirit.

Paul to Philippians (2:5-11).
Brethren, let this mind be in you
which was also in Christ Jesus,
who, being in the form of God,
did not consider it robbery to be
equal with God, but made Him-
self of no reputation, taking the
form of a bondservant, and com-
ing in the likeness of men. And
being found in appearance as a
man, He humbled Himself and
became obedient to the point of
death, even the death of the cross.
Therefore God also has highly ex-
alted Him and given Him the
name which is above every name,
that at the name of Jesus every
knee should bow, of those in
heaven, and of those on earth, and
of those under the earth, and that
every tongue should confess that
Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory
of God the Father.

At that time, there came a man
named Jairus, and he was a ruler
of the synagogue. And he fell
down at Jesus’ feet and begged
Him to come to his house, for he
had an only daughter about twelve
years of age, and she was dying.
But as He went, the multitudes
thronged Him. Now a woman,
having a flow of blood for
twelve years, who had spent all
. . her livelihood on physicians and ,
