For my website I looked for ten resources that were notable.

I used encyclopedias, databases, and

Beijing and Chinas government pages. Some of the databases I used came from Mrs. Semples page
such as Gale and Britannica. To me these type of websites were better because they are prestigious
sites that provide valuable information and cannot be changed by people who are uneducated on the
topic. For some of the websites that I used, I utilized documentaries. These documentaries were helpful
because they provided a visual aid of the history of Beijing. There were some difficulties finding websites
that had Information that were useful, but I was able to overcome these struggles with the help of
teachers and classmates.

While choosing a theme for my website I looked for something that scream Beijing. None of the themes
there screamed Beijing. So I choose one that I thought was natural, like the beauty of the city. For the
Layout I wanted something that would be easy for the viewer to read. I didnt want a fancy font, but I
also didnt want a font that wouldnt attract the reader so that helped some. As a person who is on the
internet a lot I understand the constant pain of scrolling through a website. No one likes to read long
essays that expands every detail of the information; thats what a long website seems to people, it
boring. I organized in a way so that the information of the pages were coherent in some type of way. I
wanted my website to user friendly so that it appealed to the likeness of the viewer but also gave them
information that they understood. The website should be simple enough so that a child can read and
understand the information: but it should be complex enough for an older reader.

It had grown beyond the walls that once contained it and is now larger than the city of New York. Beijing

Beijing is located in the north china plains between the Taihang Mountains and the Bohai. Beijing makes
good use of its resources whether for protection or for industrial reasons. At least 20 percent of Beijing's
economy is agricultural Beijing is more like an urban industrial city. Beijing's has had a strong industrial
economy since 1949, when the Chinese Communist Party decided to convert Beijing from a city
