The
harvest is
plentiful
but the
workers
are few.
Ask the
Lord of the
harvest,
therefore,
to send
out
workers
into his
harvest
field.






Usually the beginning of a new year for a
worker involves refreshing the vision,
launching in the annual goals, which
brings a lot of joy and a new vigor to his
ministry.
For me however the debut of the year
was a painful one with two sad events,
but I know that God used the pain to
equip me for the "harvest time". From
the Scriptures and from the lives of
missionaries over the centuries, we have
learned that the grain of wheat must die
before bear fruit. So the harvest that we
anticipate for 2014 began for me with
this inner pain I had to experience. The
Bible actually says: Those who sow with
tears will reap with songs of joy. (Ps 126).
This month I realized the importance of
training and equipping members and
missionaries for evangelism. Through
training seminars for the church,
sermons and evangelistic visits, I sent a
model of evangelism.
I tried by this way to equip members and
missionaries for the harvest. Every time,
equipping ministers and workers bring a
sense of spiritual fulfillment for me. The
fact that they learned the methods and
applied it in their ministry gave us
reasons to praise God. In a visit I saw a
young lady who burst into tears because
she has seen her sins and she wanted to
know the path of forgiveness. I had a
great joy to tell her about the Lamb of God
who takes away the sins of the world.
Being aware that I need to be present among
people, but also responsible for logistics and
coordination of RESO mission, we prayed and
this month God has blessed our logistics
office with a secretary, Nicoleta Berechet.
We felt your prayers during our annual church
gathering when we official entrusted to
Berechet Octavian, the ministry work from
Maruntei village.
Knowing the direction of our ministry and
spiritual experiences we have, your prayers, e-
mails of encouragement and your active
participation in the Gods harvest in Oltenia
are more valued by our heavenly Father.

Comani- Costea Alexe
Blessed be the Lord!
January 2014, another month when the grace
of God has been poured out upon us and
upon the work of Comani. We were able, with
God's help, to level the church building floor.
We continued the meetings each Sunday
morning, children ministry, Bible study
meetings. We started a Bible study from man
to man (Step 1 from Choose Life
organization) with some of those who
regularly attend the church programs. Thank
you for carrying us in your!
Prayer requests:
-wisdom
-protection
-the salvation of men from Comani
-the event we will organize on the occasion of
Women's Day March 8
-salvation of children who come to our kids
program
-a van for our ministry
-to finish the construction


Berechet Nicoleta I began 2014 as a secretary for Hope Church
and RESO Mission. I am glad to do this work meaning organizing,
planning, e-mails and logistics. I saw the importance of this job
and I want to help as efficiently I can the missionaries and the
church. Together we serve the same vision: to bring the hope of
Christ from Draganesti to the ends of the earth.

Opris Daniel- Draganesti-Olt, Coteana

We invited in our home children and teenagers. We
talked to them about their spiritual condition. Some
of them have confessed their sins (e.g. disobeyed
their parents) and they asked Jesus to forgive them.
The next step was to ask forgiveness to their
parents too.

I made several evangelistic visits in Draganesti and
those visited have shown interested for the Word of
God.
In Coteana, when they were
asked, at least three families
have expressed a desire to
follow an evangelistic Bible
study.

Pray that God will enlighten
them with His truth and they
may turn to Him. Also we pray
for wisdom to do efficiently the evangelistic work.

Here, I started in a believers home, a new group for
both children and adults.

Dorothy Reid Draganesti-Olt, Calinesti

God blessed us with a
warm beginning to the
month of January so it
was the perfect
opportunity to take a
group of children and
go on a picnic before school started again!
This month I had the joy of taking one young
disciple who is 9 years old, to celebrate her Birthday
with
another woman with
whom I am doing a Bible
study. Niculina is herself
a young believer and
follower of Christ, but
has little opportunity for
outside fellowship as she suffers from chronic
asthma and is confined to bed.

It says in God's Word that we are His workmanship
and that He has works which He prepared for us to
do (Eph. 2:10). Please pray for Niculina that God
will show her
what He has for
her to do and
how she can be
used by Him in
His kingdom
even in the midst
of her illness.
Pray also for 9 year old Stefi as she often goes with
me to visit ladies and to help with a new children's
club in Draganesti, that God will use her to be a
blessing to her brother and parents who are
unsaved and that she will become strong of
character in Christ.

Our Saturday children's club, "JESUS-HOPE FOR
THE CHILDREN" have chosen as our theme for
2014: "the Son of Man
did not come to be
served, but to serve..."
In keeping with that
desire be Christ's
servants, we began the
first meeting of the new year by seeking to bless
our beloved pastor's wife, who has been suffered
for weeks with a bad cough. The children formed 3
teams and were each sent off with an envelope

containing a small amount of money and the
challenge to find healthy fruits, vegetables and
throat lozenges (Halls) & chest rub (VICKS) with the
amount they had been given. They then sang and
prayed for Ana and presented her with the good
things they'd found.

Pray that God will give us wisdom as leaders how to
disciple these precious children and invest in their
lives for eternity.


Corabia- Dumitru Mircea

We succeeded, by
the grace of God
to help people to
see their condition
before God. Dan is
a man who thinks
only of his marital
situation. For two weeks I tried to show him that his
biggest problem is his broken relationship with
God. His heart was insensitive. But in the last week I
talked to him about the ugliness of sin and as never
before he became aware of his sin. He admitted he
still cannot believe in Jesus' sacrifice. It is a step
forward because until that time he thought about
himself as a Christian.
By God's grace, along
with those who have been
baptized, we studied the
book of 1 John. They
clearly understood the
signs of those who are
born from God. Along
with Doug Droll, every Saturday, we preached the
gospel to block C1. Our goal is to expose as many
people as we can to God's message.

Prayer Requests:
1. Resources for renting a space for Sunday
worship.
2. Finding 6 people who would be people of peace
and that they would host our meetings during the
week.


Maruntei- Berechet Octavian
January was a month of decisions both
spiritually and administratively.
Since the beginning of this year God put a
desire in my heart to see people won for Christ
in Maruntei. So one of the goals that God has
given me this year is to go with the Gospel in
every home there. Pray that God will open their
hearts to receive the truth that brings freedom.
Pray for Alex, he is a young seeker after God
and he wants to know more about Him.

The
Sunday School
Program held
every Sunday
night
at Speranta
Baptist Church,
Draganesti-Olt is thriving.
After 4 years from when this program began,
there are on average 25-30 children attending

For we are laborers together with God 1 Corinthians 3:9

each week. The exciting thing is, about 1/3 of
these children are from the community.
We praise God because the children are
learning the books of the Bible, they are able to
recite verses from God's Word; they are
learning about key people from God's Word
and most importantly, they are experiencing
the love of Jesus Christ.
We pray that the seeds that have been planted
will prosper and flourish and bear much fruit.

Lord gave us a great
joy. Titi, Sister
Loredanas husband
became aware of his
final destination,
Hell, if his sins are
not forgiven. He
asked God to come
into his life. Thanks
to everyone who
prayed for this famile. Please continue to pray
for them and for us!

Draganesti-Olt, Maruntei- Veronica Palcau
I began a study Bible with four children from
the kids clubs where I
serve. I give thanks to
God for He answered my
prayers.
I wanted them to be
interested to know more
and more about Him.
Praises to God that He is
working and makes His
presence felt in the lives
of some of the children.
I met with them and I was able to have free
discussions. They asked many questions and it
was a joy to see how the Holy Spirit worked
and enlightend their mind.
