ADJUNCT FACULTY
Cultivated and elevated the caliber of the Emergency Medical Services (EMS) curriculum. Appointed by
the EMS Department Chair to create a complex Initial-Accreditation Self Study Report (ISSR) for submission
to the COMMITTEE ON ACCREDITATION OF EDUCATIONAL PROGRAMS FOR THE EMERGENCY MEDICAL
SERVICES PROFESSIONS (CoAEMSP). EMS Department awarded a Letter of Review (LoR).
Acknowledged as a catalyst and advocate for the continuous improvement of curriculum. Proactively
conceived, designed, and implemented the first online course offered by the EMS Department. The initiative
increased student enrollment by 35% influencing the subsequent development of other online study programs
by the department.
Developed tactical solutions to propagate an EMS curriculum to other SUNYs. Strategically selected by the
EMS Department Chair to compile all relevant aspects of the Paramedic program as an accredited offering to
other SUNYs. Compendium of program materials was unanimously approved by New York State and
regional levels for optional adoption by institutions within the SUNY network.
Recognized for decisive leadership and proven ability to face challenges head-on. Posted the EMS
program curriculum and presentation materials in ANGEL Learning Management Suite (LMS) facilitating
student self-study during unexpected closings. Contingency planning ensured continuity of education without
interruption.
