Statement of purpose FTMBA

I hail from a rural family and I noticed that during the

harvesting time of sugarcane, farmers of my village could not sell
their sugarcane to sugar industry at remunerative prices. At that point
of time I made my goal to start my own sugar mill.
Later I also become inclined towards chemical industries when
I studied about air liquefaction during my schooling and became
determined to be an entrepreneur. I am a business oriented person and
want to setup my chemical industry.
Presently I am pursuing Chemical Engineering. I have learned
technical knowledge about chemical industries but to become a
successful entrepreneur I should have managerial skills. To establish
brand value in market and to cope up with competition, I should also
have knowledge and skills in different domains of management which
are finance, marketing and human resource management. This will
help me to deal with competitive business strategies in markets.
I have decided to choose elective subjects from these different
domains for all round development of me as an entrepreneur. Narsee
Monjee Institute of Management Studies has its flagship full time
MBA program which has excellent faculty and a brilliant peer group.
Thus it is best suited for me in gaining those skills and achieving my
goals.
