Budget Narrative

A. Personnel Costs Project Manager The Project Manager position is imperative as it is the position directly responsible for coordination, communication and follow up across stakeholders. This position is also responsible for managing the data collection and reporting for performance measures. The PSN proposal leverages a new .! "ull#Time $%uivalent &"T$' Project Manager position initially funded by local one#time Measure ( violence prevention and intervention monies. )easefire best practices show that a civilian Project Manager position is critical to community buy#in and liaising between the community and law enforcement. The position must be established high enough in the organi*ation to work effectively with e+ecutives internally and e+ternally. ,lternatively, if this position is not funded, there would be no position with capacity and accountability for leading and managing the )easefire strategy, which would likely lead to the unsustainability of the effort.
