Delegation of Finance & Spending - Granted to the Dean - Contingent upon continued validity of Board of Trustees - Can be revoked anytime by the Board of Trustees - Submitted annually to the Chairman of BOT for amendment - Delegation can be partially or wholly withdrawn or restricted permanently or temporarily at any time by the Chairmen of BOT - Dean can be spend provided with supporting documents to be paid in cash if less than 3 thou SR and cheque if more than 3 thou SR - Reimbursement of expenses incurred by the Dean should not be approved by him - Expenditure incurred by the Dean is subject for approval by the Chairman of BOT Policy on Policy Preparation - Guidelines for requesting, initiating, preparing, reviewing policies - Ensure development and implementation - Should be updated, available and accessible to all staff - Considered approved once signed by the Dean - Originals in paper forms; electronic copies as reference only - Revision every 3 years - Once approved, hard copies will be circulated, electronic copies thru internal email - Initiated by the organizational unit - Review existing policies; avoid duplication - Prepare literature review and standard procedures - Quality assurance will review - After review, forwarded to Dean for appproval
