Report of Annual Athletics Games of IPGKTAA

The 2014 Annual Atheletic Games of IPGKTAA was officially known as the Games of the KOT MMXIV. The 15th Games of Kot was held in the month of March in 2014. The opening ceremony of the Kot 2014 was held on the 11th of March at the Padang Astaka Khalid Al - Walid and the closing ceremony on March 13 marked the end of the competition. That three days was a sunny day. Generally, a month of preparation precedes the day. A month prior to the event, all the IPG student of the college were divided into four houses and respective sports groups and its given name such as Tok Lela , Tok Bahaman, Mat Kilat and Tok Gajah. During this period, events such as the field and track-events which include 100m, 200m, 400m, 800m, 1500m, 4x100m, 4x400m are some of the highlights of the day which the athletes from each house compete among themselves to be the best. The IPGKTAA annual Atheletics Games started at 8:00 am on 11th March. Most of the athletes joined the popular events like high Jump, long Jump, 200meter race and so on. In the afternoon, we had races, long and high jumps, discus throw and putting the shot. The high jump games was very Interesting and enjoyable. Athletes from the Tok Lela, Tok Bahaman and Tok Gajah want to grab the crown from Mat Kilau that became the winner last 5 years more. Senior men train teacher of Mat Kilau broke his own high jump record. His new score is 1.85 meter. Men training teacher from Mat Kilau, played the high jump game very excellent. Rey Zen beat all others in high jump and broke the IPG records. There was tremendous applause from the lecturers which included training teachers and staff IPGKTAA. I am admire about his confident, dedication and he also successfully break his own record this year too. It is a wonderful memorable game for this year. At night sharp 8 oclock, our Guest of Honor gave away the trophies to the winners. The winner of high jump game also became overall winner of the sport with collected high points of the games and snatch the trophies. My house that is Mat Kilau all got good results. Other houses also got medals. Mat Kilau won the Overall Champion title. Their efforts were crowned with success. In fact, athletics games of IPGKTAA this year were very energetic and its bringing a lot sports spirit inside most of the training teachers among the Campus.

At last not least for games, student sang national anthem after the prize giving ceremony. Prize was distributed to all participants who won the score of match. The Chief Guest gives the prize and cheered the participant. The chief guest give a small speech and after that, a small tea party for VIPs and a refreshment for participant. The IPG Campus Ampuan Afzan felt thankful to the organizer for the wonderful annual atheletics games. These are the annual athletics games of the IPGKTAA, Kuala Lipis, Pahang.
