That You May Know

I write these things to you who believe in the name of the Son of God so that you may know that you have eternal life. (1 John 5:13)

Where Will You Spend Eternity?

Imagine for a moment that this is your last day...do you know for sure that you will go to Heaven? Do you have that inner joy because of the knowledge and assurance that you are saved? The Holy Bible says you can know for sure if you are saved. In fact, this is the purpose of the gospel to bring you the good news that you are saved and have eternal life! The Holy Bible gives this assurance or testimony: And this is the testimony that God has given to us eternal life. (l John 5:11) These things I have written to you...that you may know that you have eternal life. (l John 5:13) It is very important for you to remember at

this point that you must believe and know beyond doubt that you are saved. Heres why: Any good work you do is worth nothing until you have truly believed and received Jesus Christ as your only Savior and know that you are saved. If you are not sure you are saved, God knows that you are doing good work because you have a selfish motive: You only want to be saved. And God does not accept or reward you for it. Unless you are first saved, God considers your righteousness as mere filthy rags. So, you must first believe with all your heart and be sure you are saved. By then, if you do good works, God knows that you are doing it not for the selfish motive of trying to save yourself, but to thank Him for saving you and to glorify Him as your God. And He will honor your good works, accept them, and reward you for them. Would you like to know beyond doubt if you are saved? You will know for sure once you finish reading this book.

Realize that You Have Sinned

The Holy Bible clearly says: All have sinned and fall short of the glory of God. (Romans 3:23) There is not a just man on earth who does good and does not sin. (Ecclesiastes 7:20) There is none righteous, no, not one. (Romans 3:10) There is none who does good, no, not one. (Romans 3:12) You have sinned. Because God is Just, you, too, must pay for the penalty of your sins.

The Penalty for Your Sin Is Death

Again, according to the Bible: The wages of sin is death... (Romans 6:23) Through one man, sin entered the world, and death through sin... (Romans 5:12) Man will not only suffer physical death: For dust you are and to dust you shall return. (Genesis 3:19) He will also suffer spiritual and eternal death: So it will be at the end of the age. The angels will come forth, separate the wicked from among the just, and cast them into the furnace of fire. There will be wailing and gnashing of teeth. (Matthew 13:49-50)
Gods FREE GIFT 2003 by Rodolfo C. Torres

Unbelievers will be: Cast into hell fire where their worm does not die and the fire is not quenched. (Mark 9:47-48) And they will be tormented day and night forever and ever. (Revelation 20:15) Unless you are saved, you will surely die a physical and spiritual death. Because God is just, your sins must be paid. And the penalty is death.

Your Good Works Cannot Save You

To be justified or made righteous and saved by good works, you must pass the mark that God has set. You must meet His standard. And what is the passing mark or the standard that God has set for Him to accept your good works? The standard is - You must be perfect! As Jesus said: Be perfect just as your Father in heaven is perfect. (Matthew 5:48) This means perfect obedience, obeying all of Gods commandments, violating not one. In other words, you must not commit a single sin. Why? Because, according to the law: For whoever shall keep the whole law - and yet stumble in one point, he is guilty of all. (James 2:10) So as not to be convicted, you must not break any of His laws. Even if you keep His commandGods FREE GIFT 2003 by Rodolfo C. Torres

ments, and yet violate one, you will still have to be penalized. For example Suppose you committed murder and you are brought to a judge and you say to the judge, But, your honor, all my life I have led a good life. I feed those who hunger. I give medicine to the sick. I visit those who are in prison. I give alms to the church. And here are people who can witness to that. The judge will likely tell you, I am convinced of your good works, for I have heard about them. But, you were brought to me because of a crime you committed. And I have to sentence you for that. Likewise, we shall be penalized - regardless of our good works. So as not to be convicted, we must not commit a single sin, not even one. We must be perfect. Unless we are perfect, our good works have no value. They cannot cover our sins because in the eyes of God: All our righteousness are like filthy rags. (Isaiah 64:6) Therefore, because all men have sinned, because no man is perfect - no man can be saved and justified by his good works. As the Holy Bibles says:

For by the works of the law, no flesh shall be justified. (Galatians 2:16) Judged by your works, you have no hope of becoming saved because no man is perfect. Even if you commit only a single sin, like Adam and Eve, you still have to die for it, for the penalty of sin is death. Your only hope then is to be judged by faith. If you accept Christ, your faith, like Abraham, will be accounted to you for righteousness, and you will be saved. Your name will be written in the Book of Life. Will you choose to be justified by the works of the law? Or would you rather be justified by faith? For by the works of the law, no flesh shall be justified. (Galatians 2:16) With this true, saving faith, you say: Forsaking All, I Take Him ...as my Lord and Savior.

The Good News Is Jesus Christ Paid For All Your Sins
Now you dont have to die for your sins, because Jesus Christ: Himself bore our sins in His own body. (I Peter 2:24) He was wounded for our transgressions He was bruised for our iniquities...And by His stripes we are healed. (Isaiah 53:5) He was nailed on the cross for all our sins past, present, and future And the Lord has laid on Him the iniquity of us all. (Isaiah 53:6) He paid for the sins of all men - from the first man Adam to the last man on earth. And God honors it, accepts it, and is satisfied.

Salvation Is Now Offered to You as a Gift

You cant earn your salvation. You dont even have to work for it, because It is a gift of God: not of works... (Ephesians 2:9) God is giving it to us Not by works of righteousness which we have done... (Titus 3:5) You cant buy it, its paid. You cant earn it, its free. You cant work for it, its finished. You cant add anything to it, its complete. You cant improve it, its perfect. And you dont even have to deserve it. Youre saved not because of the goodness you did in the past, or the goodness you are doing now, or the goodness you will be doing in the future. You are saved because of the goodness Jesus Christ

has done for you. No man could have done that for us. Not even a king or a saint. Not even Noah or Moses. For no man is perfect. All are sinners Only Jesus Christ was acceptable to God because only He was perfect. As the Bible says: Nor is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved. (Acts 4:12) And as Jesus Christ Himself said: I am the Way, the Truth, and the Life: no man comes to the Father, but by Me. (John 14:6) I am the resurrection and the life: he who believes in Me, though he may die, he shall live; and whoever lives and believes in Me shall never die. (John 11: 25, 26 ) This is the gospel, the good news - that now you no longer have to die for your sins, because Jesus Christ has died in your place. And God is now

offering salvation to you as a free gift! God doesnt care how bad you were. How can it be a gift if you have to pay for it, earn it, work for it, or deserve it? If you have to do so, it is no longer a gift. But, the Holy Bible says it is a gift! By the righteousness of One, the free gift came upon all men unto justification of life.(Romans 5:18) And what is that gift? The gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord. You Receive This Gift through Faith

You receive the gift of salvation and eternal life, not by good works, but through faith. For by grace you have been saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God, not of works, so no man should boast. (Ephesians 2:8,9) Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and you will be saved. (Acts 16:31) For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life. (John 3:16) If salvation is by good works, Jesus would not have said to the thief nailed beside Him, This day, you shall be with Me in paradise.

18

Nailed on a cross, the thief who had led a sinful life could no longer do any good work. But, Jesus took him - because of his faith in Him! You, too, shall receive eternal life by putting your faith in Jesus Christ - and in Jesus Christ alone - for your salvation. Your faith must be based on what Jesus Christ has already done and finished for you. Your work had and has nothing to do with your salvation. You were saved only because of the blood of Jesus Christ that was shed on the cross to pay for the penalty of your sins. God did not or will not consider your goodness or good works which are but filthy ragsand which do not measure up to Gods standard of perfection. He saved us, not because of righteous things we had done, but because of his mercy. (Titus 3:5) You cannot be saved by your obedience or good works. By the deeds of the law no flesh will be justified in His sight: for by the law

is the knowledge of sin. (Romans 3:20) Instead, you are Justified by faith apart from the deeds of the law. (Romans 3:28) You are judged, justified and saved through your faith -and only your faith alone - in Jesus Christ! He who believes in Him is not condemned; but he who does not believe is condemned already, because he has not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God. (John 3:18) You must put all your faith and trust in Jesus Christ and what He has done for you. You must truly accept Him as your Savior and Lord, King of All kings. You must not merely say it, you must mean it with all your heart, because The Lord looks at the heart. (1

Samuel

20

You must not only know it, because even Satan knows that Jesus Christ is the Savior, but he does not accept Him because he is too proud, still thinking that someday Satan will win. True faith means you not only believe in Jesus Christ and what He has done for you, but, more important, you also accept Him as your Savior. For even if a gift is offered to you, if you dont believe in it and dont want to accept it, you wont have it. So, you must accept Him. And accepting Him as your Savior means trusting in Him alone for your salvation... completely trusting that your salvation depends on what He has done, not on what you have done or will do... by His works, not by your works. True faith that saves means believing that He has fully paid for your salvation, and has completed the work. So, it is settled once and for all forever. So, you dont have to add anything more to it, because as Jesus Christ said on the Cross It is finished. (John 19:30)

Now You Do Good Works to Thank and Glorify God

As a child of God, you now do good works to thank and glorify God, knowing that you are saved not because of any good you have done but because the good He has done for you. You were condemned to die, but He saved you. He gave you the gift of eternal life. He took you as His child. And He made you heir of heaven. Out of gratitude, you would naturally want to thank and please Him - by doing good works. Genuine faith, through which you are saved, always bears good works. Faith without works is really not faith. It is fake faith, so it is dead. Now that you are justified by faith, you will be sanctified by good works. You can see that among true believers some do more good works, commit less sins, or lead a more holy life than others. Those who lead a less holy life may say, Why should I care, anyway I am saved, too!
Gods FREE GIFT 2003 by Rodolfo C. Torres

22

So, does it mean that because you are now saved you dont have to do good works anymore? One who does not bear much fruit may be saved as well as those who bear much fruit, but the Bible says that believers will receive crowns as rewards for their good works.

The Five Crowns

These crowns are: 1. The Incorruptible Crown - for those who overcome physical or earthly desires, lusts or the desires of the flesh. (I Corinthians 9:25) 2. The Crown of Life - for those who endure and overcome sufferings for their faith. (Revelation 2:10 and James 1:12) 3. The Soul Winners Crown - for those who help win souls for Christ. (I Thessalonians 2:19) 4. The Crown of Glory - for the elders or spiritual leaders of the local church. (I Peter 5:4) 5. The Crown of Righteousness - for those who wait for the coming of the Lord Jesus Christ and love his appearing. (II Timothy 4:6-8) Those who strive to do good will receive their crowns. Those who dont will lose what could have been theirs. Though saved, they would lose their reGods FREE GIFT 2003 by Rodolfo C. Torres

wards. Yes, do good because every believer shall receive a reward for every good he has done on earth...but not until he has believed and has been saved.

If After Accepting Jesus Christ You Commit a Sin, Will You Lose Your Salvation?
This is a question often asked by believers. They are bothered because somehow they still commit sin sometimes. Many are unhappy because they think that God takes back His gift of salvation and eternal life each time they commit a sin. So, they cannot be sure if they are saved or not. Does one who has truly believed and accepted Christ lose his salvation? If it were so, then nobody will go to heaven, because even your pastor, minister, or priest, too, sometimes still commits sin. The Holy Bible clearly assures that once the true believer is saved, he is saved and kept forever by the power of God.

Here then are - 8 Bible Proofs Why You Are Saved and Kept Forever

1. All Your Sins Are Paid.

The penalty for all your sins is death. By His death, Jesus Christ has paid for the penalty of all your sins. He did not die on the Cross to pay for only the downpayment for your sins...and let you pay the balance by installment. He wont come to you and say: Now that you have believed in Me and accepted Me as your Savior, all your past sins are paid. But, only up to this point. From now on, dont commit any sin. If you do, you yourself will have to take care of the payment. Youll have to pay them by installment as you commit them. Its no longer My responsibility. His death on the Cross is a full payment for our sins. Not just a downpayment. There is no balance or installment left for us to pay. He did not pay only for our past sins up to the time we receive Him, but even our future sins. Even our future sins? Yes, in fact, when He died on the Cross, we were not yet born. So, all our sins were future. Could His death be really enough to cover even our future sins?
Gods FREE GIFT 2003 by Rodolfo C. Torres

26

Yes, in fact, God considers and accepts His death as enough to cover and pay even for all the sins of the world: He Himself is the propitiation of our sins; and not for ours only but also for the whole world. (I John 2:2) Jesus Christ bore on the Cross all the sins in the world. He and His Father, Who is All-Knowing, saw to it that nothing was left unpaid and unsettled. He had to die on the Cross only once. He need not come and die again because everything is fully paid. Do you think He will come to you and say: Im sorry, I failed to see some of your sins. But, dont worry. Its my fault, so Ill have to go back again and die on the Cross for your sins. Meanwhile, Ill have to take back the gift of salvation and eternal life I gave you. But, be careful DONT DIE BEFORE I RETURN.?

2. You Are Justified and Declared Righteous.

Once you believe in Jesus Christ and accept Him as your Savior, you are justified by your faith and you are declared righteous. You are better than a pardoned criminal, because though a criminal is pardoned, he still has a record of his crime. When you are justified, you are declared righteous. It is as if you have never sinned. And there is no record of your sins! As God said: I, even I, am He Who blots out your transgressions for My own sake; And I will not remember your sins. (Isaiah 43:25) The blood of Jesus Christ His Son cleanses us from all sin. (1 John 1:7) We may fall into sin, but the blood of Jesus Christ continues to apply and cleanses or purifies from ALL sin. Satan may ask God to look into His Book. And God, after looking into His Book, would likely say, There is no record in my Book of any sin he has committed.

3. He Has Made You Perfect Forever.

Because by one sacrifice He has made perfect forever those who are being made holy. (Hebrews 10:14) You may see yourself not perfect yet right now. You still fall into sin now and then. But Jesus Christ has taken care of everything. At the sound of the trumpet in the latter days, all who have died believing in Jesus Christ will have a resurrected, glorified body free from the slavery of this carnal body. And believers who are alive will not have to die but will have their bodies changed from mortal bodies to immortal bodies in the twinkling of an eye. If now, we are slaves of sin. By then, we shall be slaves of righteousness. We shall be obedient, not rebels. Humble, not proud. Immortal, not mortal. Heres what Paul said: Behold, I tell you a mystery: We shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed-in a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trumpet.
Gods FREE GIFT 2003 by Rodolfo C. Torres

29

For the trumpet will sound, and the dead will be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed. For this corruptible must put on incorruption, and this mortal must put on immortality. So when this corruptible has put on incorruption, and this mortal has put on immortality, then shall be brought to pass the saying that is written: "Death is swallowed up in victory." O Death, where is your sting? O Hades, where is your victory? (1 Corinthians 15:51-55)

4. Your Sins Are Not and Will Not Be Counted Against You
The Holy Bible says: Blessed is the man whose sin the Lord will never count against him. (Romans 4:8) Blessed indeed are you who believe and accept Jesus Christ because your sins are not only forgiven and covered - sin will not be imputed to you anymore. If you commit sin, it will not be placed in your account anymore, but in the account of Jesus Christ. It must be so, because He has fully paid for them in advance. Each time you commit sin, Satan will always be there pointing an accusing finger at you, trying to snatch you out of Christs hand, saying before God, He has sinned. If you are truly Just, you must punish him for his sin. But, the apostle John says: If anyone sins, we have an Advocate with the Father, Jesus Christ the righteous. (l John 2:1)
Gods FREE GIFT 2003 by Rodolfo C. Torres

31

Why is this so? Its because once you are justified by grace through your faith in Jesus Christ, His righteousness becomes yours. It is imputed to you, placed in your account. Having his righteousness, you are also declared perfect, as He is perfect. You are spotless and blameless, because As through one mans offence judgment came to all men, resulting in condemnation, even so through one mans righteous act the free gift came to all men, resulting in justification of life. (Romans 5:18) Just as by Adam we became sinful, by Jesus Christ we become righteous. As the Bible says: Though yours sins are like scarlet, they shall be as white as snow; though they are red like crimson, they shall be as wool. (Isaiah 1:18) If anyone sins, we have an Advocate with the Father, Jesus Christ the righteous. (l John 2:1)
Gods FREE GIFT 2003 by Rodolfo C. Torres

32

Jesus Christ will always be there to defend us. But, I have paid for all his sins, havent I? How could God tell you then to pay for something Jesus Christ has fully settled? This is why once you are justified through your faith in Jesus Christ, you do not lose your salvation and gift of eternal life. You remain righteous and perfect before God. You are without sin, because God does not impute sin to you anymore. When you receive Jesus Christ, it is like having Him say to you, I have paid for your past sins. And whatever sins you have or will have will no longer be charged to your account but to my account. So, you dont have to worry anymore about keeping your salvation, because I have taken care of everything. How could I be your Savior if I have not done so? So, because sin will not be imputed to you or counted against you, you remain perfect and fit for heaven where everything is perfect.

5. Theres No More Condemnation for You

The apostle Paul said: Therefore, there is now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus, because through Christ Jesus the law of the Spirit of life set me free from the law of sin and death. (Romans 8:1-2) In other words, you are a justified saint - set free from the law of sin and death. How can you be condemned by a law that no longer covers you? Therefore you are no longer a slave but a son, and if a son, then an heir of God through Christ. (Galatians 4;7) How can you be made to pay a debt that Jesus Christ already paid, which God the Father has fully accepted and is satisfied? When Jesus Christ died on the cross, He made the total sacrifice that settled the penalty for our sins. Christ has redeemed us from the curse of the law. (Galatians 3:13)

34

Jesus Christ has paid for all our sins. We are justified and we received the righteousness of Christ. Sin is not imputed to us anymore. We are free from the law of sin and death. So, how can we, in Christ, be condemned? He who believes in Him is not condemned; but he who does not believe is condemned already, because he has not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God. (John 3:18) As Jesus Christ assured us: I say to you, he who hears My word and believes in Him who sent Me has everlasting life, and shall not come into judgment, but has passed from death into life. (John 5:24) So, to those who received Christ, there is no more condemnation, but life! For God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world,

but that the world through Him might be saved. (John 3:17) In other words, you are a justified saint - free from the law of sin and death. I say to you, he who hears My word and believes in Him who sent Me has everlasting life, and shall not come into judgment, but has passed from death into life. (John 5:24) I am the bread of life: he who comes to Me shall never hunger, and he who believes in Me shall never thirst. (John 6:35) Whoever drinks of the water that I shall give him will never thirst; but the water that I shall give him will become in him a fountain of water springing up into everlasting life. So, to those who received Christ, there is no more condemnation, but life! Someone asked, If all my sins are paid, if no sin is imputed to me, if I am free from the law of sin and death, and if there is no more condemnation for me after truly believing and accepting Christ then I can do anything I want and commit sin here and there. If you truly accepted Christ you will not do so because -

6. You Are Born Again in Spirit.

Once you believe in Jesus Christ and truly accept Him as your Savior with all your heart, you are born again in spirit. Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed away; behold, all things are become new. (II Corinthians 5:17) You must be born again because as Jesus said: Unless one is born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God. That which is born of the flesh is flesh, and that which is born of the spirit is spirit. You must be born again. (John 3:3,6,7) So, you are no longer of the flesh, but of the spirit. You now have a godly nature, and you shed off your sinful nature. So, although you know that sin will not be imputed to you anymore and any sin you commit will be placed in Christs account, not yours, you are not happy to commit sin. And its because you now have

38

a good nature Created in Christ Jesus for good works. (Ephesians 2:10) If a believer sometimes commits sin, its because he is still in the process of growing up in faith. He is like a baby learning to walk. He may stumble now and then, but soon he learns to walk straight and upright. Besides, if a born-again believer commits sin, he no longer does it to rebel against God, as the unbelievers do. He does it, because he is still shedding off the dirt from his old, carnal nature. And that makes a great difference. If one willfully commits sin here and there, perhaps he did not truly and wholeheartedly believe and accept Jesus Christ. In the first place, he is not yet saved and born again. But, let us not be quick to judge others of their sins, because only God knows a persons heart. Salvation is a personal relationship between Christ and the believer. We are not in a position to judge how a person stands with Christ - whether he is saved or not. As Jesus Christ said: Judge not, that you be not judged. (Matthew 7:1)

7. You Become Gods Child and Heir.

Once you receive Christ, you become a child of God. As many as received Him, to them He gave the right to become children of God, even to those who believe in His name. (John 1:12) And the Holy Spirit comes to you and dwells in you, and He bears witness with your spirit that you are truly a child of God, born of the Spirit - and heir of God! And because you are sons, God has sent forth the spirit of His Son into your hearts, crying out Abba, Father! Therefore you are no longer a slave but a son, and if a son, then an heir of God through Christ. (Galatians 4:6,7) For you are all sons of God through faith in Christ Jesus. And if you are Christs, then you are Abrahams seed, and heirs according to the promise. (Galatians 3:26,29)
Gods FREE GIFT 2003 by Rodolfo C. Torres

41

The Spirit Himself bears witness with our spirit that we are children of God, and if children, then heirs heirs of God, and joint heirs with Christ. (Romans 8:16,17) That having been justified by His grace, we should become heirs according to the hope of eternal life. (Titus 3:7) Truly, as children of God, we are also heir of God - heir of eternal life, heir of His kingdom! Heir of heaven, where everything is perfect, its gates made of solid pearl, its main street made of transparent gold, with palaces made of ivory. There will be no more sin, sickness nor death. No sorrow nor pain. We shall have a glorious but recognizable body, more of a spirit, unlimited by gravity, time and space. There will be no more sun, moon, or stars, because the light comes from Gods glory. And there will be no more nights. We shall live forever with the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit, together with the angels, the apostles and the saints...serving, teaching, singing.

8. You Are Sealed and Kept by the Holy Spirit.

Once you accepted Jesus Christ and the gift of salvation: You were sealed with the Holy Spirit of promise Who is the guarantee of our inheritance. (Ephesians 1:13,14)) God...has sealed us and given us the Spirit in our hearts as a deposit. (II Corinthians 1:22) Having this seal: The Lord knows those who are His. (II Timothy 2:19) This seal signifies and guarantees that you are Gods, because through Christ: You were bought at a price. (I Corinthians 6:20) Kept by the power of God through faith for salvation. (I Peter 1:5)
Gods FREE GIFT 2003 by Rodolfo C. Torres

43

So keeping yourself saved does not depend on your power, but on the power of God. This way, no one can snatch you away from God. As Jesus Christ said: I give them eternal life; and they shall never perish, neither shall any one snatch them out of My hand. (John 10:28) And as the apostle Paul wrote: Neither death nor life, nor angels nor principalities nor powers, nor things present nor things to come, nor height nor depth, nor any other created thing, shall be able to separate us from the love of God which is in Christ Jesus our Lord. (Romans 8:38,39) So, once you are truly saved, you are saved, sealed and kept forever, because He is also able to save forever those who come to God through Him. (Hebrews 7:27)

Which Will It Be For You: Life or Death?

I call heaven and earth as witnesses today against you, that I have set for you life and death, blessing and cursing; Therefore choose life that both you and your descendants may live. (Deuteronomy 30:19) Will you choose to be judged according to the deeds of the law - how perfectly you obey Gods commandments? If so, then even today, you are good as dead. As the apostle John wrote: And I saw the dead, small and great, standing before God, and books were opened. And another book was opened, which is the Book of Life. And the dead were judged according to their works,

by the things which were written in the book. And anyone not found written in the Book of Life was cast into the lake of fire. (Revelation 20:12, 15) Once you truly believe and accept Jesus Christ as your only Savior, God will see to it that you are saved - forever. By your works, you shall die. By your faith, you shall live. He who believes in Him is not condemned; but he who does not believe is condemned already. (John 3:18) He who believes in the Son has everlasting life; and he who does not believe the Son shall not see life, but the wrath of God abides in him (John 3:36) Your last hope for salvation today, therefore rests on your choice. Which will it be for you: Life or Death? Blessing or Cursing? Choose Christ - and you choose Life!

TODAY Is Your Chance to Receive Salvation

You can receive salvation only while you are still alive. As the Bible says: It is appointed unto men once to die, but after this the judgment. (Hebrews 9:27) Once you die, all that is left is the judgment. Make up your mind now, for death, like the coming of the Lord, comes like a thief in the night. You dont know when your end will come. Some have died even while sitting comfortably in their home. Some met their death while taking a bath, others while sleeping. Some while weeping, a few while laughing. You can never tell when If you are sorry for your sins and want to accept Christ and His gift of salvation, say a prayer of acceptance now. If you wish, you may pray the following:

Prayer of Acceptance
Lord Jesus Christ, I confess that I have sinned in thought, word and deed, not only for the sins I did, but also for the good I failed to do. I believe that You died on the Cross to pay the penalty for all my sins, past, present, and future, and you have settled them forever. I am sorry for all my sins and I now accept You as my Lord and Savior. I trust in You alone for my salvation, which is mine forever, knowing that You are able to save forever those who come to God through You. I know that as I did not earn my salvation by my good works, I will not also keep it by my good works but by the power of God. I know that I am saved not because of any goodness I have done but because of the goodness You have done for me. As in Adam I became sinful, in You I become righteous. I now receive Gods free gift of eternal life. I believe I am now a new creature, free from the law of sin and death,

free from condemnation, born again in spirit unto good works, a child and heir of Heaven, sealed and kept forever by the power of God. Thank You, Lord, for I was lost, but You found me. I was guilty, but You acquitted me. I was condemned, but You pardoned me. Again, thank You, Lord, for saving me. Amen. Name______________________Date__________ If you accepted Jesus Christ with all your heart, you are now a child of God - saved, sealed, and kept forever. You are partaker of this promise: And God shall wipe away every tear from their eyes; there shall be no more death, nor sorrow, nor crying; and there shall be no more pain, for the former things have passed away. terer, fornicator, murderer, idolater or liar - because definitely no sinner is allowed. Everything in Heaven must be perfect. But, you will walk through them! And Satan wont be able to stop you. Satan wont be able even to point a finger at you. Satan wont be able to accuse you of even your littlest sin because you will pass through those pearly gates of Heaven not as a sinner but a justified saint, for all your sins have been washed away and FULLY PAID FOR by the BLOOD of our Lord Jesus Christ. In the first place, Satan wont be there! Praise God in Jesus Christs name!

Those who are wise shall shine like the brightness of the firmament, And those who turn many to righteousness like the stars forever and ever. (Daniel 12:13) If you sometimes ponder, why did God create you and bring you into this world, I believe it may be because of this: There are lives only you can touch; there are souls only you can reach. Like me, you may feel unworthy, too, to work for the Lord. But, remember this: What matters is not what you can do for God but what you let God do through you. For, as Jesus Christ said: You did not choose Me, but I chose you and appointed you that you should go and bear fruit, and that your fruit should remain, that whatever you ask the Father in My name He may give you.
