NURSING ENGLISH TRANSLATION Meeting II

Translation is to change the meaning from one language to another or some other languages. Every language has different rule or method to translate. In English translation, we can not translate one word by one word but every phrase. It consists of many words. The words are in form of Determiner, Noun, Ad ective, Adverb, Noun !lause, Ad ective clause, "resent participle, "ast participle and To infinitive. #owever, understanding the sentence is a primary one. Translator has to decide sub ect, verb and ob ect, adverb or complement. $irstly, we decide the verb of the sentence. Then, it begins from sub ect, verb and other elements of the sentence. The following is a diagram and sample of noun phrase.

The vitamins in such supplements are eCuivalent to those in food, but an adult who maintains a balanced diet does not need a daily supplement. The ingestion of supplements is recommended only to correct an e*isting deficiency due to unbalanced diet, to provide vitamins &nown to be lac&ing in a restricted diet, or to act as a therapeutic measure in medical treatment. ,pecifically, caution must be e*ercised with fat - soluble substances, such as vitamins A and D, because, ta&en in gigantic, they may present a serious health ha2ard over a period of time.
