Set Induction (5 minutes)

1. Recall plural forms a. Ending with s b. Ending with es c. Ending with - ves 2. Students say out plural forms that they know.

1. Ask the students to recall what plural forms are. 2. Get responses from students and try to remember them. 3. Explain on different types of plural forms.

Any words in the plural form is acceptable

Expected response: (word)-s (word)-es (word)-ves

We have a lot of types of plural forms. Some use s, -es and ves. But there are other types of plural form.

Pre(15 minutes)

1. Introduce new words/plural form

1. Tell students that there are plural forms that require change in spelling. 2. Give examples using the singular and plural table.

Teacher: Some plural forms, we have to change the spelling. For example: Man men Woman women

6. The pair that wrote the most sentences gets a prize.

1. Worksheet activity.

1. Give students worksheet to be done. 2. When they are done, tell them to try and remember how to write sentences.
