Henry Schein organises DENTAL EVENT 2014

Full-service dental supply house invites dental professionals to attend the largest annual dental happening in the Netherlands with the motto Business, Education and Entertainment
Almere, 07 April 2014 For over 30 years, Henry Schein in the Netherlands has organised the largest annual dental happening: Open House Days. As a full-service company, Henry Schein is not only a leading supplier of dental products and supplies, but is also focused on providing service with added value to healthcare professionals. That is why the company decided to expand its range of offers during the Open House Days in Almere, and to make the event even more appealing by adding elements such as talks by renowned speakers in the field of business and practice-orientated workshops. On Friday and Saturday 11-12 April 2014, Henry Schein Dental is organising the first ever DENTAL EVENT with over 100 dental exhibitors and information on Henry Scheins additional services, including consulting, educational training, technical support and financial services. Dentalliance is the name of the package of additional services, which Henry Schein Dental hopes will cement its position as a full service dental supply house and in particular, which will allow dental professionals to experience for themselves that Henry Schein is with them in thinking of all the aspects of practice. Besides the known products the company supplies, five pillars are being introduced, into which the services have been divided. One of the pillars with new services is patient communication for example. Everything starts with the patients motivation, after all. In addition, Henry Schein will present ConnectDental, the collective name for a total solution, which dental practices can use to support their path to the future of digital dentistry. ConnectDental offers reliable and extensive communications options as a total concept (including a web portal), as well as a large series of products such as leading digital CAD/CAM systems and materials. It also includes extensive consulting, and education and training for employees of practices and laboratories, enabling efficient and effective application of the new technologies. ConnectDental is an open system that offers solutions for (the cooperation between) dental practices and laboratories that optimise the use of digital possibilities, such as digital printing systems. Henry Schein is setting new standards with ConnectDental by offering extensive training programmes by various specialists in the field of digital dentistry. Besides the new Dental Event, the Dentalliance package of services and the innovations in digital dentistry, Henry Schein Dental emphasises all the benefits of the recently published catalogue of supplies during the Dental Expo 2014 in March, where the company also introduced an App for iPhones and Androids, which is available in the iOS App Store or Android Play Store. The App can be used to view dental news, make technical reports, order new products or register for courses, among other things.
