From Our Desk to Yours

Mike Whitcomb, president of Brookstone Restoration, has been in the construction business for 40 years. During that time he has built everything from custom homes and churches to shopping centers and o!ce buildings. In recent years, he added mitigation and reconstruction of commercial and residential property to his business model. He believes that there is a need in the market for a company of high-integrity, that is experienced in both commercial and residential mitigation/reconstruction, to be a one-stop shop for insurance carriers and property owners alike.

Ministry Focus: India Gospel League We are an indigenous, Biblecentered ministry born and operated in the heart of India. Millions across South Asia still need to hear the Good News about Jesus, and millions more need practical blessings like education, medical care, and economic opportunity. All of our ministries are built to be self-supporting in the long run. More than 70,000 village churches have been planted by IGL in the past 25 years, and from these, hope is shining out to a world darkened by desperate poverty and ancient idolatry. However, at the heart of Mikes business plan is the desire to make a positive di"erence in the lives of others; including Brookstones employees, their families and its customers. He believes being in the disaster services eld o"ers many opportunities to serve others during di!cult times by providing compassionate, honest, and quality service.

On a personal note, Mike has been married to the love of his life, Lori, for 35 years. They met at Campus Crusade while in college at Arizona State University. They have four incredible young adult children and two grandsons. Mike and Lori attend Shades Mountain Baptist Church.

Projects & Praise

When we experienced water damage at my Moms home, I needed someone to handle the repairs that I could trust to manage the situation and get her home back to its original condition. Mike Whitcomb came right over and assessed the damage, gave us a detailed written estimate of what it would cost for the repairs, and explained to my Mom the way the repairs would be made. We had the bid approved and we engaged his firm, Brookstone Restoration for the job. The job was completed on time (even during the Holidays) with complete satisfaction for all concerned. When something like this happens and you need a quick response to a situation, you simply want to have someone who is dependable, reasonably priced, and someone you can trust with your Moms home.
