Producing images through the repetition of chemical formulas of substances naturally found in the human body, my concentration reflects on the psychological and physical declination women experience throughout time creating a constant cycle of emotions that deal with the degeneration and redemption of life.

This series was an exploration of the collaboration of traditional and digital media. By importing patterns and textures from original collages formed by organic elements and neutral colors, I was able to manipulate structural photographs through Photoshop and create digital pieces that fused the mediums together.

First appearing in 450AD Europe, the Celtic knot has been a present symbol of good fortune for centuries. The ambiguity of the knots beginning and end represents and uninterrupted life cycle free of complications and full of stability. In particular, Celtic knots that display a pattern reminiscent of a maze, such as the one above, reference the learning process and the importance of life experiences. In conjunction with the Celtic knot, inspiration for this logo also comes from the game of Chess, which was made popular in the middle ages. A game of strategy, intelligence, and power, Chess works very similarly to the negotiation process attempting to always be one step ahead of your opponent. In an attempt to draw the viewers attention to the last name Voss, the design appears slightly off-centered, utilizing position and color to emphasize its significance.

Running with the theme of Celtic symbols, the clockwise spiral possesses the oldest history of all the geometric motifs. A single spiral in many cultures represents growth, expansion, and cycles of time, life, and the seasons. The implied movement of spirals returns it to the same point over and over again, but with new levels of understanding each time. Many words can be attributed to the spiral and the meanings it creates: balance, progress, expanding, awareness, journeying, and development.

Avant-Garde
Avant-Garde is an annual scholarship fundraiser held by Ringling College of Art and Design, each year showcasing a new theme for which the attendees dress accordingly. This project explores my original theme concept, presented through the creation of a fittingly designed invitation. Requirements for the completed file included a die-cut, fold lines, and a spot color.

Choosing Sideshow Spectacular for the events theme, I drew design inspiration from sideshow and circus posters, creating illustrations of some of the notorious oddities one might find behind the curtains. The die-cut on the cover opens to reveal a surprising twist on one of the illustrations, referencing the showmanship of the big top.

Aluminum was once thought of as the metal of the future, holding enormous potential with its discovery that was never quite reached. This series of sculptures utilizes the aluminum rod as a metaphor for great potential, constantly being hindered by outside forces that constrain growth.

One of the aspects I find the most fascinating about hornet nests and beehives is how organic their forms look. The fact that such small creatures work together to produce something so complex and beautiful, even in decay, drew me to the subject and impacted my choice on design and use of materials for my final product.

Founded in 2012, Greenroom is a relatively new website with little notoriety. With the opportunity to connect with celebrities and professionals, the main problem the website faces is actually getting its name into the market. SMIT: Opportunity to be inspired

Greenroom targets young adults and professionals who are looking for inspiration from experts in their field or who want the chance to communicate with their favorite celebrity. Key features to highlight with the Greenroom service would be the uniqueness of the opportunity and the option to choose based on personal interests. Consumers can choose to use it as a resource, a gift, a good time, or inspiration.

Market the concept of the Greenroom as an actual place. The campaign will feature print ads with different celebrities/experts waiting in the Greenroom and will showcase their individual talents and personalities. There will be an addition to other sites that offers an interactive questionnaire that consumers can use to talk to the featured celebrity. Physical Greenrooms will be constructed in select areas with experts or celebrities specifically selected to fit the demographics.

Print ads will incorporate different experts and celebrities as they welcome the viewer to the Greenroom. Each ad conforms to the same formula but also is individualized according to the specific expert or celebritys personality and profession. The way that they are positioned on the couch or the outfit they wear or the activity they do will be tailored to them specifically. These ads will be placed in magazines and other locations that have the same demographics as the person they feature.

Banners and ads that look visually similar to the print ads will be posted on websites corresponding to the expert or celebrity it depicts. The banners will be interactive and allow people to ask a question by selecting one of the available options, after which the expert or celebrity will answer. Other ads will just show the featured person doing something related to their profession in front of the Greenroom couch and logo.

The focus of each Greenroom commercial will be on making the Greenroom into a physical place. In the commercial example provided, the Greenroom appears behind a door in a mans house and emits a green light and music. Curious, the man opens the door and is subsequently transported to the Greenroom where he finds Dee Snider waiting for him. A bonding montage ensues and the commercial ends. The same concept can be applied to more commercials with different celebrities and experts. For example, a woman planning to walk into her kitchen can be transported to the Greenroom where a cooking expert is waiting to help her prepare a meal or a dad can walk in on his daughter

chatting with her favorite celebrity and, to her dismay, join in on the conversation. The factor that will build cohesiveness between these commercials will be the Greenroom setup, which will remain unchanged in all of the scenarios and will be mirrored in the physical Greenroom portion of the campaign.

Actual Greenrooms will be created; each one with a different guest expert or celebrity that interested people can spend a certain amount of time with in the Greenroom atmosphere. The Greenrooms will be erected in specific locations determined by the area of expertise of the participating expert/celebrity and the demographic to which they appeal. For example, a participating artist may be found in a Greenroom at a populated art festival, or an experienced lawyer at a law school.
