TENSE REVISION
A. Present Simple Tense
The Present Simple Tense is used to show:
1. A habitual action
E. g. He wakes up at seven o’clock every morning.
2. A general truth
E. g. The moon goes round the earth.
We usually use the Present Simple Tense when a sentence has the following words:

every day, every night, always, often, usually, sometimes

B. Past Simple Tense


The Past Simple Tense is used to show a past action.
E. g. Yesterday I bought a new dress.
We usually use the Past Simple tense when a sentence has the following words:

yesterday, last week, last month, once, ago, this morning, three days before

C. Future Simple Tense
The Future Simple Tense is used to show a future action.
E. g. I shall go to Macau tomorrow.
F.g. She will swim in the pool next month.

We usually use the Future Simple Tense when a sentence has the following words:

tomorrow, soon, next week (month, year…), in an hour, later, two days later
