Complete the chart with the following information.

Refer to Chapter 2, Planning Your Network, for detailed instructions on how to complete the chart. 1. List the type and model of each PC you plan to add to the network. 2. Identify items you need to purchase. Determine if the PC already has a NIC installed. If it does not, list the type of NIC required. Measure the distance of each PC from the Compaq hub. This determines the length of cable you will need to purchase. List the hub and port where the PC will be connected (Example: Hub #1 - Port #1). Determine if you need to buy any additional hubs? 3. Name each PC and User Account. Give each PC a unique name that will be used to identify it on the network. Give each user a Prosignia NeoServer account name and password. 4. Gather Internet Service Provider (ISP) information. (Prosignia NeoServer Internet Plus Model only). Contact your ISP and obtain the information needed to set up your Internet connection. List the ISP email account name, password, and email address for each user.

IMPORTANT: For safety and performance reasons, the total length of each individual cable must not exceed 100 meters (approximately 328 feet). NOTE: The PC name, Prosignia NeoServer user account name, email name, and passwords do not have to be the same for one PC. However, using the same names and passwords will make using the PC easier.
