HSE POLICY STATEMENT It is the policy of AGBARHA NIG.

LTD to provide a safe and health work environment for all contractor, subcontractor and employees No phase of operations or administration is considered to be of greater importance than injury and illness prevention. Safety takes precedence over expediency or shortcuts. We believe that accidents are caused by careless and that every accident and every injury is avoided. We will take every reasonable step to reduce the possibility of injury, illness or accident.

It is responsibility of all employees to maintain a safe working environment. It is the specific responsibility of management to ensure that safety is a primary condition at all times through instrument and control. We have recognized out responsibility to manage in such a way that resources are conserved and utilized effectively. Accordingly the policy is that will give the highest AGBARHA NIG. LTD priority to the health, safety and security of employees, contractors, and members of the public.

Achieve continuous improvement in HSE performance. Maintain professional and competent staff that will perform their jobs in line with policy, and also review and develop new HSE practices and procedures. Work with the host communities to promote harmonious relationships. Ensure that HSE policies will at all times be implemented according to the relevant laws and regulations guiding the operations in the Federal Republic of Nigeria. They shall also reflect the Clients standards.

HEALTH, SAFETY AND ENVIRONMENT POLICY


We shall be committed to: Pursue the goal of no harm to people Monitor the health of all employees on regular basis Use materials and energy efficiently to provide our services Manage HSE matters as any other critical business activity Play a leading role in promotion best practice in our sector Promote a culture in which all employees share this commitment

By so doing we aim to have a HSE performance we can be proud of, to earn the confidence of customers, share holders and society at large, to be a good neighbor and contribute to sustainable development.

COMMUNITY RELATION POLICY AGBARHA NIG. LTD shall continue to identify with the needs and aspirations of her and clients host communities in the execution of its operation.

The company is of the view that it shall not operate in isolation and therefore shall liaise with clients communities, relevant government departments and others in order to ensure a safe and peaceful working atmosphere.

The company shall also ensure the building sustenance of solid harmonious relationship with client and communities and shall exhaust every known peaceful strategy to resolve conflict case of any disagreement. The company will liaise with host community through Clients in order to avoid disruption to operations

NO SMOKING POLICY
Smoking is injurious to health. Therefore, smoking of any sort, inhalation or chewing of tobacco is prohibited on our worksites. Any employee of AGBARHA NIG. LTD found smoking cigarette or consuming hard drugs on site would be summarily dismissed.
ALCOHOL AND DRUG POLICY It is the companys obligation to maintain safe Health and efficient working conditions for its employees. Being under the influence of a drug or alcohol in the may pose serious health and safety risks not only to the consumer but also to the safety of co-workers, members of the public and the employees performance. Most workplace accident are caused by human error which could be drug or alcohol related. The possession use or sale of is illegal drug or alcohol in the work place pose danger and unacceptable risks for safe, health and efficient operation. In order not to jeopardize its good intention for employees, the company maintains the following policy in respect of drug/alcohol. Management of AGBARHA NIG. LTD shall deal decisively with any employees(s) who engage(s) in drug abuse and/or take active interest in self-medication and alcohol. Medical fitness examination shall be conducted to include urine/blood or other alcohol/drug-screening test and maintained as afore-employment screening practice. This is a measure to check hiring individuals who use illegal drug or individual whose use of drug or alcohol indicates a potential for impaired or unsafe work performance. Working under the influence of alcohol puts at stake the companys obligat ion to sustain safe and efficient operations. Therefore the use or being under the influence of alcohol or sale transfer or possession of illegal obtained drug by an employee while on companys business or while in the facility of either the company or its clients is strictly prohibited. Violation of this policy shall attract severe discipline and may eventually need to discharge from duty.

OCCUPATIONAL HEALTH It is AGBARHA NIG. LTD policy that all activities shall be planned and executed in a manner that preserves the health of her employees. The implications of this policy are: Smoking in all operational areas, on company transport, and in public areas, corridors, meeting rooms and shared offices, is prohibited. Consumption of alcohol and drugs in our company premises during working hours is prohibited. Employees health shall be monitored on a regular basis via medical check-up. Analysis of accident and sickness incidents shall be routinely performed to identify harmful operations practices and the necessary corrective action implemented. Performance appraisal reward shall be given to employees with good health habit.

JOURNEY MANAGEMENT POLICY


To ensure safety of the workers and third party, AGBARHA NIG. LTD put on a complete policy concerning the selection of drivers and vehicles, accordingly with the trip condition. The selection of drivers is very essential in AGBARHA NIG. LTD The driver must have a minimum of five years of experience. He must be trained on DDC at least 3 times within the past 5 years. Drivers will also undergo SPDC DEP I and II training course. His experience must enable him to have a good sense of judgment and an excellent driving skill. The driver must be physically and mentally fit for the journey, no drugs (marijuana, narcotics, and tranquilizers).

SEAT BELT POLICY

It is the policy of the company that operations are carried out at safe conditions. Attempts shall be made to curb excessive exposure to road hazards Distant journeys shall be planed and applicable hazards anticipated with good judgment of time speed, nature roads, visibility and safety coupled with good journey management procedures. All company drivers shall possess valid Nigerian Driving license for the class of vehicle he intends to drive, and shall have been subjected to Porto client & Glare tests to check blurred visions.

ACCESS CONTROL POLICY

Access to Restricted Area is on permission basis. All visitors authorized personnel or representation of SPDC; expected to sign in and out in the corresponding register provided.

Visitors to site shall be briefed on behavior onsite, clothed with appropriate PPE and shall be escorted by the safety officer, as conditions for admittance.

Movement of materials in and out of site shall be by material received, material issued vouchers.

SECURITY POLICY

An essential part of the overall companys management is the management of the lives of the companys personnel, client and third party and companys client or third partys equipment or facility.

To ensure effectiveness in this management, the company as a matter of policy, takes responsibility of security of all personnel, client representatives and third party in all our work sites and premises.

In furtherance of this, the company shall employ trained (unarmed) officers. Also the services of licensed and professional security organizations shall be secured on retainer ship basis to boost the overall company security system.

However local security men from community, where we operate will also engaged.

Armed security agencies, such as Mobile Police, Air force, Army, or Navy shall not be used in any of our work sites. They shall however be invited in riot situation, which are out of control of the Nigeria Police force.

SUB-CONTRACTOR POLICY AGBARHA NIG. LTD seeks to achieve the objectives define in quality assurance and so

must select sub-contractor, inform them about


AGBARHA NIG. LTD quality assurance policy, present them with clearly written and

unambiguous specification for their work and to supervise conformity during execution of their services.

WASTE MANAGEMENT POLICY This policy will seek to preserve the environment to its primary condition. Therefore, impact assessments will be carried out together with a measure of consequences before any work is started. Efforts shall be geared towards reducing noise, dust, fumes and other injurious substances by our working condition and environment. We are also committed ensuring clean and health environment in the course of work.

To this effect all waste generated shall be identified according to their nature and degree of harm to the environment. Any material that has dangerous environmental consequences will be eliminated where practicable or substituted. Waste will be segregated at source and kept in containers marked or tagged with contract. It may be necessary to seek assistance from waste disposal contractors. The permit to work where necessary shall be extended to cover environment checks. During work compliance monitoring shall be ensured to assess defects through regular site visit.

PERSONAL PROTECTIVE EQUIPMENT (PPE) POLICY


It is the policy of AGBARHA NIG. LTD to provide relevant and high quality personal protective Equipment Coveralls, Safety shoes/rain boots, hard hats, Hand gloves etc. for all persons engaged in her operations.

Continually, the management shall enforce the effective use and maintenance of available personal protective Equipment, which entails regular condition audits and replacement of defective ones.

Site safety officers and supervisor shall continue to monitor compliance with this policy.

AUDIT / INSPECTION POLICY AGBARHA NIG. LTD knows that HSE self Audit and HSE Inspection have proved to be very

useful in monitoring our HSE performance in the workplace, so we shall continue to carry out these site audits and inspections as frequently as we have work outside our office and in our office.
