The featured wines exemplify our wine philosophy the wines are made by uncompromising vintners who endeavor to preserve the varietal characteristics while producing wines that are unique expressions of the terroir. These wines are for the most part made in boutique wineries in limited quantities. They are exceptional in character, and pair exquisitely with our entrees.
Whitehaven Sauvignon Blanc Marlborough, New Zealand, 2009 42(11) Classic Marlborough Sauvignon Blanc that has herbal notes, great acidity, and lovely finish. Colloredo Mels, Italy 2009 34(9) One Twenty Six is introducing this lovely Burgundian stye Pinot from Italy to Iowa for the first time! Bursting with cherries, this wine is earthy, has lovely acidity and a great finish. Clos la Coutale Cahors, Cahors, France 2007 42(11) A wonderful full bodied Malbec,from its ancestral land, that is full bodied, earthy, and simply delicious. Rated one of the top wines of 2009!
Domaine Faury Syrah, Northern Rhone, France 2006 48 A classic aromatic wine from a renowned Northern Rhone wine maker. If you have been turned away by the monolithic Shirazes that have flooded the market, this multidimensional beauty will capture your hearts. Great bouquet of exotic woods, silky tannins, classic peppery finish and impeccable balance. Pairs well withlamb, pork, tenderloin, and duck Torres Mas La Plana Black Label Cabernet Sauvignon, Penedes, Spain 2001 120 Produced in very limited quantities by one of top wineries in Spain, the Mas La Plana vineyard is considered to produce one of the best cabernets that ranks with the best Bordeauxs and California Cabernets. Complex, intense, and amazingly structured, this wine exhibits lovely fruit, leather, truffles, and hints of spices and coffee. Enjoy this wine cellared and served with the utmost care.

Corking Policy: One Twenty Six has a reasonably priced, handpicked selection
of wines from all over the world. All our wines are stored in a cellar that is temperature and humidity controlled. Yet, we do understand the desire to bring a special bottle for a special occasion. The corking fee is $20/750ml and please limit to two bottles/table.
