Foam plate or palette Container for water Paper towels Masking or Stencil tape Pencil Ruler

Instructions
1. Prepare your tray with two coats of Tapioca to the inside of tray and two coats of Italian Sage to the outside, allowing paint to dry between coats. 2. Measure and lightly mark with a pencil a 7 x 10 rectangle in the center of the tray. 3. Basecoat Italian Sage outside the rectangle and up the sides of the tray. Basecoat top edge of tray Metallic Pure Gold. Allow to dry. 4. Load both Tapioca and Italian Sage each on one half of the Blending Brush. Brush on palette to blend. 5. Using Blending Brush, paint along the Tapioca and Italian Sage lines to soften and blend colors. 6. Using handle end of 3/4" Flat, paint evenly spaced Black Cherry dots near Tapioca edge. 7. Cut desired design elements from Rub-On Pattern sheet. 8. Arrange elements on project surface dark side down and secure with tape. 9. Using flat end of Rub-On Tool, rub along pattern lines using gentle pressure to transfer pattern onto project surface. If desired, transfer only main pattern lines. Paint basic design shapes and when dry, transfer detail lines. 10. Using #8 Round, paint the following: leaves Hunter Green, flower center Butter Pecan, and back flower petals Black Cherry. 11. Paint Black Cherry at the base of leaves using #8 Round; blend to shade using Blending Tool. Using handle end of brush, paint Hunter Green dots in flower center. 12. Add Buttercup highlights on leaves using #8 Round. Paint veins with thinned Buttercup using #1 Liner. Using handle end of brush, paint Buttercup dots in center. 13. Load #8 Round with Cardinal Red; basecoat middle layer of poinsettia petals. 14. Using same brush, apply a second coat of Cardinal Red; add Black Cherry to base of petal. Use Blending Tool to shade. Paint veins on petal with thinned Black Cherry using #1 Liner. 15. Load # 8 Round with thinned Buttercup; paint highlights along edge of Cardinal Red petals. 16. Paint remaining petals Calico Red using # 8 Round. 17. Load # 8 Round with Cardinal Red; add to Calico Red petals. Shade petals using Blending Tool. Highlight petals with thinned Buttercup using same brush. Load #1 Liner with thinned Cardinal Red; paint veins.

18. Load #1 Liner with thinned Metallic Pure Gold to paint metallic accents; outline leaves and petals.
