Democrats looking to make gains in the 2014 gubernatorial elections are using a possible minim way to win support among voters, following a wave of protests on the issue this year. While Republican governors are expected to campaign on issues such as the rocky rollout of Ob discontent with Washington, Democrats seeking to unseat them are lobbying for an wage increa their campaigns, the Associated Press reports.

Democrats across the political spectrum have lobbied for a higher minimum wage this year, after on the issue by calling for an increase in his February budget speech.
