Summary
Symptom Transaction MB5TD and the RM07MTRB_DATE report have been created for displaying the stocks in transit (SiT) for a key date. Other terms RM07MTRB_DATE, MB5TD Reason and Prerequisites In the existing Transaction MB5T, you could display the stocks in transit only as totals without reference to a key date. Solution This new Transaction MB5TD and the corresponding RM07MTBR_DATE report have been implemented in the standard system in Release 7.0. You can also use this function in a lower release. To implement the function, carry out the following steps manually: New data elements Create the following data elements with the "MB" development class: Data element MB5TD_BUDAT Key date Posting date DATUM Type Short Medium Long Heading Documentation section "Definition": The entries of the purchase order history with a posting date that is smaller or the same as this key date are selected and processed. Documentation Extend the existing documentation of the RM07MTRB_DATE report. Enter the following texts in the corresponding sections. Section "Use": The calculated stocks in transit are the totals of the quantities from the purchase order history records, with a posting date that is smaller or the same as the key date. The values are calculated using the net value of the purchase order items. Since there can also be stock transport orders without net value, the system may not display any values. Section "Prerequisites": In addition, you must be authorized to display the purchase order data of the purchasing organization (authorization object M_BEST_EKO, action 03). Section "Features": The report provides three different types of list output. You can select one of them in the section "Output option". You can use and manage layouts for each list output. 1. Totals list This list contains the compressed data at level material, plant and special stock indicator. The header lines contain the data of the material masters, and the item data contains the data of the assigned transport orders. In the list output, you can carry out the actions "Display Purchase Order", "Display Purchase Order History", "Stock overview" and "Detail list". 3. Non-hierarchical list This list contains the detailed data of the material master and the transport order in one line. You can use it to download the list output. In the list output, you can carry out the actions "Display Purchase Order", "Display Purchase Order History" and "Stock overview". The report memorizes the parameters set by the user with each run. The system then proposes the same parameters during the next run.
