SCHOOL ACHIEVEMENT AS PSYCHOLOGICAL PROBLEM Summary After considering some most important problems of current researches of school achievement, the author presents briefly his own viewpoint starting with salute orientation and its model, more exactly, an orientation towards the whole life and ecology of human development. In that way it determines school achievement as a factor of avoiding stress as well as a generalized source of resistance which helps in relieving stress caused by school and learning. At the same time, he outlines the other important (that have already been stated or the ones which will be stated in future) factors of school achievement as

generalized or specific source of resistance. The possible effect of these relevant factors, their interaction and correlation with the feeling of coherence as centralized source of stress control is also the subject of investigation.
