Question Hi Brother, In addition to my earlier qns, I have a important qns: Quite recently my mind is starting to say porn and masturbation is ok. Years of masturbation has seasoned my mind to say this i guess. This is because the mind is rationalizing in such a way that why miss out on the fun since u r young, and life has to be full of pleasure. This is despite the fact that my body and mind gets tired after masturbating but recovers abt 4 days laters and my mind restarts on the rationalization. This rationalization seems even worst and does not offer any incentive to follow brahmacharya.

Questions concerning the practice of 'Brahmacharya' to know the self & the means required are dealt with on this site.

Pls advice how to curb this? Thank you. Answer Go through all the past answers which have dealt with how to overcome the false rationalizations of the mind. Many such queries have been addressed before. Then honestly strive towards a life of Yoga & Brahmacharya. With the grace of God, things will slowly fall in place (That Supreme being is the absolute truth)

Experience
The term 'Yoga' is a derivative of the Samskruth verb 'Yuj' which refers to union. 'Yoga', also called 'Brahma vidy' is the eternal dissolution of the individual 'Aham' (Ego) into the Atman (self) that is the Lord for 'Mukti' (liberation) Mere indulgence in 'sana' or physical postures is not Yoga. sana is only one limb or 'Anga' of Yoga. The eight limbs viz. Yama, Niyama, sana, Prnyma, Pratyhra, Dhrana, Dhyna and Samdhi are the means to Yoga. Brahmacharya or spiritually based continence is one of the important components of 'Yama'. 'Brahmacharya':-"Brahmani charyathey ithi" - "One who has completely surrendered to Brahman, overcome the Ego, and has realized himself to be a tool of the Almighty." Education/Credentials Bachelors degree in Engineering.
