CAREER PROGRESSION
AeroControlex Group, Inc. Cleveland, OH 2006 to 2013 $120M aerospace division of Transdigm. Comprised of 3-separate product lines: Pumps, Mechanical Actuators, and Aero-Instruments Recently, Transdigm executed an acquisition, which merged with AeroControlex. This acquisition resulted in redundancies in several roles, which included my position. MATERIALS MANAGER Responsible for the Purchasing, Planning & Inventory Control functions of the $80M Pump Group with an overall spend of $18M. Managed 5-direct reports to forecast, secure, plan, test & ship fully assembled OEM pumps and aftermarket spare parts. Part of an integrated Customer Support Team to meet the product needs and expedited demands of the Customers. Responsible for the Stock Room functions. Effectively maintained a 95%+ on-time delivery rating, and a Quality rating below the 100 PPM threshold level with our Key Customers Achieved an annual cost savings of $200k through Supplier negotiations, while keeping overall cost increases less than 3-4%/year Managed a cycle count program to maintain 98% inventory accuracy, eliminating need for a physical inventory Successfully directed and met the forecasted shipments and margins for each one of the past 78 months Swagelok Manufacturing Company, LLC. Solon, OH 1999 to 2006 $1B privately held manufacturer of fluid system organization serving the Semi-Conductor, Bio-Pharm, & Oil and Gas industries. STRATEGIC SOURCING SPECIALIST 2004 to 2006 Hand-selected & transitioned by Senior Management to serve in this critical & newly created role for the new valve products being produced from an acquisition located on the Isle of Man. Role focused on strategically sourcing / developing a new supply chain to support 150 worldwide distributors, separately & concurrently, responsible for directing the Forging and Hose Commodities to support the internal needs of Swagelok. As a separate project, assigned to organize & manage the external sales of the scrap metal program generated by 25 different facilities. Improved delivery rate to Distributors from 30% to 95% Directed and conducted an International Supplier Conference in England to introduce and communicate corporate philosophies and strategies of order and inventory management to 15 key suppliers. Successfully managed the scrap metal program resulting in an annual return of ~$10M - $12M in profits.

CORPORATE SOURCING / OPERATIONS MANAGER 1999 to 2004 Recruited for this new position with responsibility for all of the Purchasing, Logistics & Sales distribution functions involved with the newly created Distributed Products Group Product Line. Over time, direct reports grew from 1 to 4 to support the purchase, transport & sale of the new Pass-Though products, (Products purchased directly from the Suppliers, then sold to >150 Distributors worldwide). Position was eliminated after 5 years when the Sales Group requested and took control of the established program from the Operations Group. Coordinated and managed a cross functional team to grow sales revenue from $8M to >$25M by providing finished Pass-Through distributed products Successfully negotiated several LTAs (Long Term Agreements) with the Key International Distributed Product suppliers to assure consistent and timely supply worldwide Streamlined and improved the efficiency of the order management and inventory programs for Distributed Products though several lean events, one of which was held at a Key Supplier Helped develop a web based program and tool to further streamline the Distributor ordering process Radix Enterprises Euclid & Aurora, OH 1973 to 1999

$25 M privately held company comprised of the Radix Wire & Electrovations Divisions. Products include the hi-temp wire and cable insulating organization that supported the Appliance, Decorative Lamp & Electronic Igniter Industries, as well as the Navy and DFAS Operations of the Government.

CORPORATE SOURCING MANAGER 1995 - 1999 Responsible for the Purchasing functions of the Radix Wire (union facility) & Electrovations (non-union & R&D) operations. Managed & directed 5 individuals to purchase, plan & help support the production and engineering functions. Assigned by Radix Enterprises President to serve as Company Rep at the NEMA meetings, which met 3-4 times per year, to help develop and modify standards for the UL, CSA, and Government Agencies. Implemented a Raw Material Program, which resulted in an annual cost savings of $250,000. As Chairman of a NEMA Subcommittee, we altered the NEC (National Electrical Code), the UL Appliance Industry Standards, and developed a brand new NEMA Standard for the Wire and Cable Industry. Developed the capability of providing our own conductors, especially with the special alloy conductors such as Nickel and Nickel Plated Copper. CORPORATE HUMAN RESOURCE / LABOR RELATIONS MANAGER 1986 1998 Responsible for all Human Resource/Labor Relations functions for Radix & Electrovations. Served as Chief Company negotiator & representative for all of Union (OCAW) disputes & labor contract agreements. Managed the Benefit Program (including Medical), and the oversight of the employment activities for all 100 employees. Implemented Cell Technology in a Union environment, which resulted in 30%+ productivity improvements while reducing overall manufacturing costs by 20%. Negotiated 4 different Union Contracts over a 12 year period that resulted in having minimal impact on labor rates (3-5%) and minimal disruption to the overall business. Implemented self-funded medical benefit program (union environment) resulting in initial 20% premium savings.
