"Get happy and stay there"

The Law of Attraction The Law of Attraction (LOA) states "That which is like unto itself is drawn" or "energy attracts like energy." This law governs everything that you experience in your life whether you are aware of it or not. Vibration, Feelings, and Vibrational Matches Everything in the universe has a vibration or "energy signature" - thoughts, events, people, energies, etc. Whenever you give your attention to something (a condition in your life, a person, a thought, anything at all) your vibration will alter to match the vibration of whatever you are focusing on. As your vibration changes to match it, the LOA is acting to bring more things (thoughts, people, circumstances, etc.) to you that match your vibration - whether it is something wanted or not! So let's say you hold a thought in your awareness. As you hold it in your awareness you become a vibrational match (VM) to it. As you become a VM to it, the LOA is attracting other thoughts which have a similar vibration into your mind. What this adds up to is, when you think of something it will have a snowballing effect as the LOA continually brings you bigger and bigger and more and more thoughts. If you observe a condition in your life (for example, "not enough money") your vibration will automatically change to match what you are observing. In this way you are becoming a vibrational match to "not enough money" and the LOA is bringing to you matching thoughts and circumstances, thus perpetuating the conditions. Inclusion and Exclusion CWG: "What you resist, persists." When you try to exclude/resist something (say "No" to it) you are pushing against it. As you push against it, you are including it in your awareness. As you include it in your awareness, you are vibrationally matching it. As you vibrationally match it the LOA is acting to bring you more things that match your vibration - the very thing you do not want. Another way of saying this is, "There is no exclusion in the universe - only inclusion." When you attempt to exclude (resist/push out of your experience) something, you are including it in your vibration (since you are holding it in your awareness) and so increasing its presence in your life and in the world. In other words, "No" means "Yes" and "Yes" means "Yes." As you shout "NO!" at something, you are including it in your vibration and your vibration is telling the universe "Bring me more of this thing that I do not want!" As you say "Yes!" at something, you are including it in your vibration and your vibration is telling the universe "Bring me more of this thing that I want." This is the reason the wars our society wages against terrorism, cancer, poverty, etc. will not work - one of the essences of war is resistance and as these things are resisted, they are perpetuated.

This is the mechanics behind the reason it was recommended in CWG that we give no attention at all to the things we do not want - because any attention that we give to negative conditions only add energy to them and makes them bigger. Headway can be made in these "wars" but breakthroughs happen by people who are not in a state of resistance on the subject. Now let's return to your words here: Quote: If we really are the creators of our own reality, how did I create such a mess out of my life?I never intended to create this outcome!

The reason you created it without intending it is because you were, without realizing it, giving your awareness to all sorts of things that you didn't want, hence attracting them until you experienced them. Assertion vs Attraction, Vibrational Immunity We live in an attraction based universe and there is no such thing as assertion. Nothing has the power to assert itself into our experience, and no other being can create within our experience. This means that we are individually the creators of our lives and no one else. This is something that CWG has said but it didn't go into the full implications of it. Cancer cannot assert itself into our experience - it is something we attract through our vibration. A murderer cannot assert themselves into our experience - it is something we attract. Poverty cannot assert itself into our experience - it can only be attracted by us. If we are not a vibrational match to illness (we are a VM to health), it will be impossible for us to get sick - even if every other person in the world is dying of a contagious deadly disease, we wouldn't catch it as long as we do not match it vibrationally. If we are not a vibrational match to poverty (we are a VM to well being, prosperity, joy, etc.) then the markets can crash around the world and you will not be affected by it. If we are not a VM to being murdered (we are a VM to joy, well being, etc.), it is impossible for us to die at the hands of a murderer - even if someone puts a contract on your head (this wouldn't even happen if you're not a VM to it though) and someone is coming for you, they will not succeed. They will fall and break their toe or have a piano fall on them, or something while they are on their way to you. This is vibrational immunity. This is how Jesus was able to walk unharmed out of crowds that wanted to lynch/kill him. (it is important to note, however, that Jesus attracted the circumstances that led to his being in a hostile crowd in the first place) It is impossible for us to experience something that we are not a vibrational match to. This works in the opposite way as well, however.

Once you understand that the LOA lines everything up with perfect precision and never makes a mistake, it's possible to see the complete and utter perfection of the universe everything is exactly as it should be. It also becomes clear how each being possesses unlimited creative potential: Each individual is capable of choosing their point of focus. If you can choose your focus you can control your vibration. If you can control your vibration, you can control what you are attracting. If you can control what you are attracting, you have the ability to be, do, or have anything you can imagine. Our Inner Guidance System Remember "Feelings are the language of the Soul"? Here's how to interpret them in the context of manifesting. To understand it, however, it's important to first revisit the kind of relationship we have with God. God is All That Is, and All That Is is composed of Pure Positive Energy (PPE). We are composed of the same energy as God. Here's a helpful analogy: Imagine that God is like an enormous stream of PPE and that we are extensions of this stream - or pipelines that branch out. This stream of PPE is flowing to us and through us at all times. Now imagine that there is a valve at the junction where our pipeline meets this stream. This valve controls the amount of energy that is flowing to us (through our pipeline) from our Source. In every moment we have our valves somewhere between almost completely shut and almost completely open - we are either allowing the stream or disallowing the stream from flowing through us. Our natural state is one where our valves are open and we are feeling wonderful. Feeling good is our natural state because joy, love, etc (PPE) is Who We Really Are. Look at any baby - they are naturally loving and happy unless something is directly interfering. Another analogy (don't take this literally): Anytime we want* or intend something, our souls will align within us an inner compass that tells us if we are moving towards what we want or away from it. The way we tune into this compass is by observing our feelings. When we are feeling positive emotion, we are, in that very moment, in the mode of attracting what we want. When we are feeling negative emotion, we are, in that very moment, in the mode of attracting the lack of what we want. The above sentence on negative emotion is correct in terms of what we experience but not correct technically - I'll give a more precise interpretation of it after I've covered some more ground. For now this is the easiest way to understand it. * Note: CWG uses the word "want" meaning "desiring something from a place of lack" (hence attracting more of the lack and being left "wanting"). When I use the word "want" I don't mean it in the way CWG uses the word - I mean "desire." Also, I use the words "feelings" and "emotions" interchangeably - I know CWG uses them differently.

Back to the river/valve/stream analogy: When we are feeling positive emotion, our valves are open and we are allowing PPE/Godforce to flow through us. When we are feeling negative emotion, our valves are closed and we are resisting/squeezing off the flow of energy coming to us from the stream. Negative emotion is our experience of "PPE withdrawal." Health This is the reason there is a correlation between the amount of negative emotion we experience and the quality of our health. When we are feeling love, or happiness, or any other positive emotion, we are flooding the cells of our bodies with pure positive energy and they will thrive. When we entertain negative emotion for a long enough period of time, the cells and systems of our bodies are receiving less life force (we are not feeding them "negative energy") and eventually start working less well. There are other factors, of course - if we strongly believe in health then even if we stay in a state of negative emotion for an extended period of time our bodies will stay healthy longer. If we fear sickness or believe it is inevitable and feel prolonged negative emotion, our bodies will deteriorate much more rapidly. It's important to note that the natural state of our body is one of health. We only get sick when we hold ourselves in a vibration that disallows the flow of energy that naturally keeps us healthy. Also, our bodies are not vulnerable - it takes a lot of resistance to affect it negatively. One of the reasons our bodies are so resilient is because even when we are in a state of negativity, each individual cell naturally seeks balance and health. Each cell is "asking" the universe for "health" and the universe is answering by constantly sending a flow of life force energy to us. In order to mess with our bodies balance we have to entertain strong enough (and prolonged enough) negative emotion that it overrides our body's natural asking. The implication of this is, if we are sick, the only thing we have to do in order to return to health (eventually) is to stop focusing on things that hold us in a state of disallowing the energy to flow. If we do this, our body's natural "asking" will return us to a state of health. If we are able to strongly want health without resistance (no longer fearing getting worse, not focusing on the body's current condition, etc.) we will summon a flood of PPE that is capable of instantly healing or bodies of any condition. This could by why Jesus said "Your faith has made you well." (What's below is a simplified look - I believe there is more to it, but I think it captures the essence of what happened) Those that he healed already had a powerful desire for wellness. The only thing keeping them from experiencing it was their resistance. By putting their trust/faith in him (believing that he would heal them), they were able to release their resistance and allow the life force to flood through and heal them instantly. In reality, he didn't heal them at all (he didn't have the power to create in their experience) - it truly was their faith that made them well. Back to our "guidance system." So, whenever we are feeling good we are attracting what we want and whenever we are feeling bad, we are attracting what we don't want (or the lack of what we want). Our emotions tell us everything we need to know about how we are vibrationally relative to what we want and to our Source Energy. The intensity of our emotion tells us how much energy from the stream we are summoning with our desire - the stronger our desire, the more energy that flows. The quality of our

emotion (positive or negative) is telling us if we are allowing the stream or resisting it. When we are feeling passion or powerful love (any strong positive emotion) our valves are wide open and we are allowing torrents of PPE to flow to us and through us. When we are feeling rage or despair or terror (any powerful negative emotion), we are summoning massive amounts of energy to us but have our valves closed so that only a trickle is coming through (we can never shut our valves completely or our bodies would die and then we would re-emerge back into the PPE stream) - so there is tremendous pressure from the amount of energy we are summoning and not allowing. This "pressure" or energetic conflict/dissonance is our experience of negative emotion. When we are feeling irritation, we are summoning a small amount of energy but also have some resistance to it. When we are feeling peacefulness, we are summoning a small amount of energy and allowing it. Manifestation Speed The Universe is able to give us what we want instantly (this is how Jesus performed his miracles - he manifested things so quickly that it seemed to defy how the universe works). The amount of time it takes for us to get what we want is the length of time it takes for us to become a vibrational match to our desire. This means that we control the manifestation speed. We don't have to wait passively for the universe to deliver something - it isn't coming until we are a vibrational match to it, so if we put some effort into consciously changing our vibration to match our desire it will come much faster. "How long will it take for me to meet my perfect mate?" As long as it takes for me to become a vibrational match to having him/her in my life. If I'm able to match this perfectly 5 mins from now, then she will show up in 5 mins. If it takes a year, he will show up in a year. Anything we could possibly want is just a vibrational match away. It's often said that our outer world is a reflection of our inner world. This is because the conditions of your life are always a perfect vibrational match - if you are experiencing something, you are vibrationally matching it whether you realize it or not. Another factor that influences manifestation speed is the intensity of our emotion (how much energy we're summoning, the strength of our desire) - much like an electric magnet that you can control its power by increasing or decreasing the flow of current. The stronger your emotion is as you are focusing on or thinking of something, the stronger your magnet is and the faster it is coming to you. Imagine desire on one end of a teeter-totter and belief on another. If both are equal - if you both desire it strongly and firmly believe/expect that you'll receive it, you will quickly create what you want. If your desire is higher and your belief is lower, that is still a form of balance and you can still attract it. If your desire is low and your belief is high, this is a balance as well and so you will create it. However if both belief and desire are low, neither is compensating for the other and so you will not attract what you want.

This is the reason increasing desire for something can be helpful - to "tip the scales" and compensate for a lack of belief.

Difficulty of Manifestations "It is just as easy to create a castle as it is a button." It is just as easy to create wealth as it is to create poverty. It's the same process - you're just applying natural laws to create different things. Actually, in practice, it's often easier to create a castle than a button because usually people have a stronger desire for castles and this attracts it more quickly. The "difficulty" involved is doing what it takes to alter our vibration so that it matches what we desire. To build some bridges between CWG concepts and these analogies: CWG: There are only two emotions - love and fear. Translation: There are only two emotions, one feels good (love) and another feels bad (fear). CWG: Love is the energy of expansion, fear is the energy of contraction. Translation: We experience positive emotion (love) when we allow (expanding energy) and we experience negative emotion (fear) when we resist (contracting energy). CWG: Fear attracts like energy and yet love is all there is (fear is an illusion - possessing no reality unto itself). Translation: There is only PPE (love). Negative emotion (fear) is what we experience when we resist PPE. There is no source of darkness or negativity in the universe - there is only the absence of light/PPE/love. While Ive spoken in terms of "attracting what is not wanted" or attracting a negative experience (its easier to understand in the beginning), this isnt completely accurate. You cannot attract lack - you can only disallow what you want from flowing into your life. So "attracting a flu" is really disallowing health that is natural, "attracting poverty" is really pushing away the prosperity that would normally flow into your life, etc. Vibrational Matches Revisited How you feel is your experience of your vibration. Your feelings tell you how you are being vibrationally influenced by what you are giving your attention to. Since the LOA acts on your vibration, you are like a magnet that is attracting more of the way you FEEL. The way you are feeling is your "point of attraction." In very simple terms: You cannot feel poor and attract wealth. You cannot feel fat and attract thin. And so on. You will always get more of the way you are feeling - not always thinking (sometimes it will happen if what you are thinking and vibrating are a match), but feeling. The universe does not understand your words - it only "understands" and responds to your vibration. This is the reason it can be difficult to pinpoint exactly how you created different circumstances in your life.

For example, you see someone get cut off while you are driving. You get angry about how inconsiderate the other driver was. As you focus on it, you are becoming a vibrational match to it. What is your vibration? Anger, inconsiderateness of people. What is a this a vibrational match to in the universe? It's a vibrational match to a driver cutting you off when you're driving. It's a VM to your mate making a hurtful and insensitive remark. It's a VM to a neighbor not being careful and tossing snow onto your clean driveway when he's shoving his. etc. It's very important to understand that whenever you are feeling bad - for any reason, you are doing 2 things: 1. You are attracting all sorts of unpleasant things into your life that are a vibrational match. 2. You are, in that moment, disallowing EVERYTHING that you want from coming into your life! (and pushing away the positive opposite what you vibrationally matching) The opposite is also true: When you are feeling good, you are attracting all the things you want that are a VM to it. So when you feel love for your pet, you are attracting more love that can come in the form of a desired mate, a smile from a stranger, a letter from a friend, etc. If you feel happy and alive as you are playing the piano, you are in the moment attracting money, a happy relationship, the wonderful car you want, etc. The implications of this are enormous: If you are able to live in a state of positive emotion, you will never attract an unwanted experience and all of the things that you want will avalanche into your life. Also, since feeling good is your natural state, it is also natural to be in the mode of attracting everything you want. The experience of not receiving what you want is un-natural - though it is "normal" for most people. Depression In your post you mentioned struggling with severe depression. What is depression a vibrational match with? Disappointment, a deteriorating physical body, lack of energy/aliveness, lack of prosperity, frustration, troubled relationships, a failing business, etc. etc. etc. This doesnt mean you will experience every single thing that depression is a VM to though - whether you do nor not depends on your beliefs relative to these different areas (though if you stay in depression, eventually youll experience a lot of them). Your conditions are being perpetuated by your vibration and your vibration is being caused by what you are choosing to focus on. If you continue to observe your unwanted conditions you will vibrationally match them, and as you vibrationally match them, you will continue to attract more like them. In the analogy of the pipeline, severe depression means powerful desire and also powerful resistance. Do you ever remember being in a very negative state but something happens and youre catapulted into an equally strong positive state? (Mystics commonly experience this swings from ecstasy into despair)

Whats happened in cases like this is youve quickly released most of the resistance and allowed the full amount of God-force you were summoning to suddenly flow through you. The good news is that you have the same potential where you now stand - you have the potential to feel just as good as you are feeling bad. The only thing keeping you from experiencing this is your resistance. More good news is that because your desire is so powerful (if it wasn't you wouldn't be depressed), your magnetic power is cranked up extremely high. This is a double edged sword, of course - in a state of strong depression you are attracting unpleasant things to you quickly BUT you also have the ability to attract all of the things you've been wanting equally quickly. If you can find a way to release your resistance and move into a state of joy as strong as your depression is deep, you will find a tremendous amount of good things happening to you. The only thing keeping you from this is your choice of focus. Every Subject is Really 2 Subjects We can think of what we want or the lack of it. When we think of money, we can think of money or the lack of it. When we think of health, we can think of health or the lack of it. This is one of the reasons people believe that they are focusing on something they want but are getting the opposite - why people sometimes say "I've been wanting and focusing on money my whole life! Why don't I have any???" What's happening in this example is, although the person is focusing on the subject of money, they are giving their attention to the lack side of it - and hence attracting the lack. With this in mind, knowing what side of the coin you're focusing on with a subject can be tricky - if you're trying to monitor your thoughts. You can easily and immediately tell if you are focusing on the having of something or the lack of it by observing the way that you're feeling. If you're feeling good as you think of something you want, you're focusing on the having of it. If you're feeling bad as you think of what you want, you're focusing on the lack of it. There can appear to be exceptions (they're not really exceptions) to this however, which I will address later. The Balance of Thought Most people, as they think of something, will sometimes focus on what they want and sometimes they will focus on the lack. They will be feeling good about it sometimes and bad about it other times. On the occasions they are feeling good about what they want, they will be attracting it. On the occasions they are feeling bad about what they want, they will be repelling it/attracting the lack. If you could observe this energetically, the way it would appear is - they are pulling what they want to themselves, then pushing it away, pulling it closer, then pushing it away, pulling it, then pushing it, etc. What happens in the long run depends on their balance of thought - if they are thinking of what they want more than they are thinking about its lack, it will manifest. If they are focusing more on the lack side than on the "having" side, they will continue to experience the lack of what they want.

You can imagine it like some balancing scales - the more it tips the scales, the faster it will manifest. So if they are frequently thinking of what they want and rarely focusing on the lack, the scales are tipped far in the direction of "having" and what they want will manifest quickly. Vibrational Range It's possible to think of "having" what you want (not focusing on the lack) but feel negative emotion at the same time. For example, if you're really angry and you think "I'm happy" you will not be able to think the words and feel them as being true or "real." It might actually make you feel worse. The reason this happens is because we have a certain "vibrational range." The range is one of feeling - we're able to feel somewhat better than how we're currently feeling and somewhat worse, with our "center-point" being how we're feeling in the moment. The only thoughts that we will experience as being "real" to us (we can think them and feel them at the same time) are those thoughts whose energy are within our vibrational range. So if you're really angry and say "I'm happy", that thought is so far out of your range that you're not able to experience it as being true/real for you. It can sometimes make you feel worse if you dwell on it because repeating it could raise your awareness of how bad you're feeling. The contrast between the 2 might create a bit of dissonance. It CAN work (repeatedly saying "I'm happy" to pull yourself out of a very angry or depressed state) - but it will probably take a long time or frustrate you so much that you'll give up before it has an effect. A much faster way is to pick a thought that's within your range and stick with it for a short period of time (as little as 17 seconds if you can focus purely on it - without your attention wavering). So if you're really depressed, reach for a better feeling thought - this thought might be nowhere near "happy" but it will be an improvement. If you can find a thought that feels better and dwell on it for a short period of time your vibrational range will shift until your center-point is in this new and slightly better feeling place. This place might not be near "happy" - it could be "depressed" instead of "severely depressed" or "the blues" instead of "depressed". Now, all you have to do is repeat the process until you've inched up the vibrational scale until you are wherever you were aiming for - whether it be peacefulness, happiness, or ecstasy. Again, the process is: 1. Reach for a better feeling thought. 2. Hold that thought for 17 seconds. 3. Repeat steps 1 and 2 until you feel relief or decide to stop. This is like climbing a ladder or walking up a set of stairs. If you're depressed and you're thinking the thought "I'm happy", this is like standing at the bottom of a staircase and trying to get three-quarters of the way up in a single step! So take smaller steps by reaching for a thought that feels better. Beliefs Many people believe that beliefs are like small magnets that you create, carry around with you, and are constantly creating/attracting - but this is not the case.

Beliefs are just habits of thought - they are thoughts that you keep thinking. When a belief comes to mind you vibrate it. As you vibrate it, you attract its vibrational equivalent. In the periods of time that your belief does not occupy space in your awareness, you are not vibrating in harmony with the belief and hence not attracting whatever the belief/thought reflects (unless you are thinking something else that is a vibrational equivalent to the belief). In these periods of time the belief is "dormant." Because of this, it is possible to attract things you do not believe you can have. Let's say that you have a belief that says you'll never find your ideal lover. If you never think of that belief, but instead focus predominantly on things that makes you feel good (singing and dancing, for example), then while you are focusing on those good feeling things, 2 things are happening: 1. Your belief that "I'll never find my ideal mate" is dormant. 2. Your state of joy is a vibrational match to a wonderful relationship - and hence are in the mode of attracting your perfect lover. The LOA will make it easier and easier for you to think of a subject/thought. This is what creates the sense of "momentum" surrounding a subject and what makes beliefs feel as if they are "stronger" than other thoughts. If you have given a belief a great deal of thought, you will have attracted numerous other thoughts (could be related/supporting beliefs) that complement the belief. It will be very easy to think of the belief and it will feel "true" to you. It's like when you walk through the woods. Over time, people will usually use the same path and, before they know it, there is a well beaten trail. The trail makes it easier to walk fewer stones in the way, you can see what's in front of you more easily, the land is more even, etc. Beliefs (habits of thought) are somewhat like this. You only create in the present moment The Law of Attraction is constantly acting on your vibration. You are only vibrating in present time (and when conscious/awake - dream-states are a different story). Your past has no power create. Once you begin thinking of your past, however, you will vibrationally match it and attract similar circumstances. This is how patterns of abuse can continue from childhood. If someone was abused as a child, this doesn't mean they will attract abusive lovers later unless they dwell on their childhood and how they were abused. You wrote: All i wanted to do was to create financial prosperity.I tested the manifestation concepts of book one and they worked beyond my wildest dreams in the beginning.ONly to turn against me in the passage of time. How could something so powerful work so well at first and then just stop?

In the context of what I've described, here's what could have happened... When you first did your "test" you had very little resistance on the subject and so you got what you wanted in a very dramatic way. As time passed, however, needs came into the equation (I need the money to pay for this and that) and the stakes for success became higher. Whereas before it was a light-hearted "let's see if this works..." experiment, you began feeling that you had more to lose. You began to worry and be concerned - "What if this doesn't work? What will I do?" When you tried more often without success, you began focusing on the failures more (attracting more of them) and began to worry more, struggle against it more - all while moving further into a vibration that made it impossible for you to receive what you wanted. It's the same reason many people don't win the lottery - the person who really, really, really wants to win is also often the person who is really, really, really in a place of lack about it. Their desire creates an equally strong resistance. To put it simply, you need to shift your vibration until it is, once again, a match to how it was when you were winning. You have to recreate the way you felt back then and make it more dominant in your vibration than how you are currently feeling. Just glimpsing the feeling place of where you were before for a few seconds (something you can do from memory) and slipping back into a state of worry for the next several hours isn't going to cut it - you have to make that vibration/feeling dominant. It has to feel more familiar to you than how you are currently feeling. Remember that gambling isn't the only way money can come to you. If you are desiring and allowing prosperity, it can flood to you from many different sources. If you believe that this is the only way money can come this will be the only way you will allow money to flow. I suspect that the reason you're focusing on gambling is because you believe it is easier for the universe to deliver the money you want through this avenue. The universe can send you the money through a slot machine just as easily as it can sent it to you from other sources - so you might find it helpful to work on your beliefs about other ways money can enter your experience. If you're having a really difficult time shifting this belief and want to try another approach, I suggest forgetting about the "How" altogether and try instead to focus on other things that make you feel good (it doesn't have to be related to money). If you can leave your worries about this behind and live long enough in a state of positive emotion, you will attract the dollars you want by vibrationally matching it with your general mood. You wrote: is this a mistake on my part or just the law of opposites asserting itself? And if this is the law of opposites? Why do I have to experience this? book 1 says that if you declare to the universe that you are something, you will create the exact opposite in the realm of the relative because you cannot be that which you are not.fine.But book 3 says that you do not have to create that which you are not in the same space on the playing field so to speak. Thus it is possible to experience that which you are and choose to be without creating the opposite experience.Did I get this wrong?

When you think of a subject, the LOA will bring into your mind all sorts of thoughts relating to that subject. Something to understand before going into this further is "Every vibration is where you last left it." If the last time you thought of the subject of "bills" it was in a bad feeling place (perhaps reflecting the thought "I always struggle to pay my bills") then the next time you think of "bills" you will vibrationally return to the same bad feeling place. This is why the approach you mentioned here isn't too effective: Quote: most of the time i watch tv or sleep alot to try to avoid the severe depression ive been going through.

It's true that when you go to sleep you're not negatively attracting but if you wake up and begin thinking of the things that have been bothering you again, you will revisit the same old thoughts which are in the same old vibration (bad feeling place). Your current mood can influence this though - if the subject is in a very bad feeling place and you think of it when you are in a neutral feeling place, you will likely get pulled down. If the subject is in a slightly negative feeling place and you are feeling very happy when you return to it, it might feel a bit "bitter" at first, but your present vibration can help you to quickly reach for a better feeling thought. This is why it is helpful to think of subjects that are giving you difficulty when you are feeling happy, clear, strong, etc. - your vibration will help you to attract insights relative to what you are having problems with. So when you think of (or declare) something like "I am prosperous" - the LOA is bringing all the subjects relating to prosperity that you've considered in the past to the surface of your consciousness. If you've left lots of those in a negative feeling place, you will not feel very good when you think "I am prosperous." If you do not bring these thoughts to a better feeling place and continue to think of them, you will begin attracting circumstances that reflect how you are feeling - one of struggle and lack of prosperity. You will not experience yourself as being "prosperous" until you shift the vibration of all related thoughts to vibrationally match "prosperity" such as: "I can easily afford anything I desire" instead of "I never have enough money for the things I want" "Bills are statement of other people's trust in my future earning potential. I always have enough money to pay them easily" instead of "Those rotten, blood-sucking bastards raised the rates again! I wish I paying these things wasn't so much of a struggle." The Creative Process 1. Want it (desire it) 2. The Universe brings it to you 3. Allow it into your life

Looking at it step by step: 1 - Want/desire it. Desire is born whenever you experience something you like or don't like (whether you see a car you like or are stuck in a traffic jam). Underlying all negative emotion is a desire for something else - even if you do not articulate the desire consciously. So if you're stuck in a traffic jam and are feeling bad about it, in that moment of negative emotion, you simultaneously also have a desire for many things - clear roads, happy drivers, a harmonious flow, a quick trip home, etc. If you're angry about an argument with your mate you have a desire for harmony, connection, oneness, love, etc. If you do not have a desire for something else you would not experience negative emotion when it happens to you. If you don't care whether you're caught in a traffic jam or not, you wouldn't get upset about being in one. Negative emotion is always a sign that there is something that you want and you're focusing on the lack of it. 2 - The Universe brings it to you. "Ask and it given" When you ask for something, the universe delivers it - every single time with no exceptions. The "asking" isn't your conscious request - when you're in a traffic jam you don't have to consciously think or say "Universe, I'd like a joyful, safe, speedy trip home" in order for the universe to hear you and try to bring it to you. The "asking" is the desire that is born within you and in that very moment, the universe is trying to give you what you want. So in if you're feeling upset about being in a traffic jam, the universe is answering your unspoken desire and trying to give you want you want (clear roads, a happy mood, etc.) but you're not receiving it because your vibration isn't a match to those things - you're not allowing those things into your life because you're in a state of resistance. The same thing with loneliness. Your desire for caring company is underlying the feeling of loneliness and the universe "hears" your desire and is trying to line you up with people who you would have a caring connection with - but in your state of resistance, you are not a VM to it and so you do not experience it. So take for granted that whenever you want something, the universe is trying to deliver it all you have to do is get out of its way (your own way) and allow it into your life. 3 - Allow it into your life. This is the only thing separating you from what you want - your ability to allow it into your life (release any resistance to it). Once you release your resistance, the object of your desire will flow into your life. An analogy that I love is: During your everyday life you are launching all sorts of desires and the universe is answering every single one of them by bringing them all to your house, lining them up according to importance (what you want most will be first in line), and leaning them right against your front door (which is always unlocked and is swinging freely). The only problem is, you're on the other side of that door pushing against it and keeping all the stuff you want out! You will know in any moment whether you're allowing or resisting

(pushing against the door and keeping the stuff you want out or not) by how you're feeling. When you're feeling good, you're allowing. When you're feeling bad, you're resisting. Remember, it is natural to live in a state of joy and easily receive all the things that you want. Since you have no control over the second step, you can shorten it even further into "Want it, allow it, and it is." Allowing is the most important step. You don't even need to focus on Step 1 (Wanting/Desiring) because it happens naturally as you live your life you will automatically have all sorts of desires being born within you. All you need to do is allow (release resistance) and you will experience everything you have always wanted. Another way to say this is "Your job is to get happy and stay there." There are 2 general strategies for allowing: 1 - Bring the vibration of your thoughts/beliefs regarding what you want to a better feeling place. 2 - Focus on something else and hold your vibration in a place in which you are no longer resisting what you want. Stated differently: 1- Reach for a thought that feels better on the subject. 2 - Think of something else and do whatever it takes to get happy. Boiling everything I've said down into 2 words: Seek joy. Distilling it into a single word (not the only word that could work though): Appreciate (look for the positive aspects in everything, look for things to say "yes" to And with that... I am complete How do you align the energies? How do you know when you have the energies lined up? In order to align the energy, you need reach a place where you're able to think about the thing you want and feel good at the same time. When you've reached this place of alignment, you will know it. You will literally feel it click into place and you will have an inner knowing that you've got it. So if you've worked at it and you're feeling sorta good about it but still wondering "Do I have it?" - you're getting there, you're close, but you're not quite there yet. If you have doubts or if you feel a need to ask, it's a sign the energy isn't lined up. Abe has said that it typically takes 2 to 3 weeks for someone to line their energy up on a specific subject. (Though it can be much faster if you are skilled at working with your thoughts.

How much you focus and the time you spend at aligning the energies also plays a role.) And how do you align the energies? Use whatever tools you are drawn to. Bridge your beliefs. Reach for a thought that feels better. Use affirmations. Visualize. Start talking about what it would be like to be where you would like to go. Ask yourself how you would feel if you had what you want and then bring those feelings into your life now. As you do this, let yourself go - don't try to modify your behavior.
